Swami 50th Birthday Bash

Note this thread doesn't really belong here, but the mods have allowed the other, so... Don't want to post this in The Gathering as this invitation is not for every one. S&P "regulars" only.

OK, bash is an overstatement. But I will be having a casual get-together the weekend of June 22 (Friday) though my official birthday is not until the 27th.

Anyone wishing to come will have to make their own travel and hotel arrangements and I make no promises to entertain anyone nor be a drug connection. (Sorry!) Why? Because I deliberately want it to be a small group of friends. Hostility and trouble-making not allowed. Fun only. MUST BE 21!

I was thinking of having people come in Thursday night, those interested to leave Friday morning for a few hours at Red Stone (not Red Rock) an amazingly trippy rock formation (Looks like the Flintstones) and then for a swim at the lake with an overnight campout.

Back to the city Saturday late morning. If the group is small enough, I may invite all over for a synth concert. Then on to a nice dinner and a night of clubbing. Recover and explore LV on your own Sunday or maybe do a buffet brunch. Back to work on Monday.

Then resume our regularly scheduled sniping at each other on Monday night.

So far, sclorch and Hue are tentative guests.

Damn, it sounds tempting, but I don't think I'll be able to make it. I've got summer school to worry about, and I'm already planning on going to the Ohio gathering. And Las Vegas would be a lot easier for me to get to during the school year. Oh well. Have fun. Be sure to take plenty of pics.
