vaporizer shrooms?

All this talk about how to dry got me thinkin, has anyone ever tried shrooms in a vaporizer? I know people who get sick from shrooms even in gellcaps. I know you can smoke them (yuck) but a vaporizer might be pretty smooth & only get the good stuff. I feel bad when I give shrooms to some girl and the she gets sick. (I am always carefull about doses)

My guess is going to be that the goodies would be killed by the vaporization process. I dunno tho.

it should work cause smoking works but you loose potency and I cant think of anything that tastes worse then a burning mushroom

No, it dosent.
Think about it.. If you can't even dry mushrooms in the oven without the heat breaking down the psilocybin content, how do you think they're gonna fare against a direct flame?

heheh, these guys conviced me to let them roll some of my aborts into a joint one time... these were the same people that still think caps are better than stems.

Smoking doesn't work. At least it has never worked for me or anyone I have ever known. I did once roll a zag around a stem and smoked it. That was fun, but no effect. I once even smoked a whole eighth of shrooms between me and another person. It tasted like shit, and nothing happened.

Let's get something straight....Vaporizing is completely different than smoking. If you have a heat gun (a la www.vriptech.com) you can set the temp to whatever your heart desires and extract the "good" stuff. Granted I have a vrip and a heat gun and a massive supply of shrooms, but I also have a lazy streak and no motivation yet to try it. Just look up the vaporazation point of psilocybin (~160 F, I think), set gun to temp and enjoy. In theory, it should work even more effiecently than digesting the shrooms.

....maybe I will do an experiment and post the results.....

You got the same theory I do. If you ever try it post results. I am way too curious about stupid shit like this. I would do it just for the sake of science but I dont have a vaporizer any more.

Actually guys, although smoking breaks down most of the psilocybin/psilocin, there is supposedly a small amount of DMT in the mushrooms that can be smoked for an effect. Personally, I've tried it, and didn't feel shit. The smoke tasted absolutely horrible as well.
