I consider myself to be quite the movie fanatic seconded by a fondness for psychedelics.I think any movie out there is enjoyable while tripping.I think it all depends on your setting and state of mind.Office Space has got to be my all time favorite comedy,but it got me feeling depressed once during a trip.I took it out and popped in Underworld which completely turned everything around and pulled me out of the depression.Maybe thats just me though.

Hey! Clone high was the shit man! Ermm... well actually it was allright. But it is definitely the shit while tripping (mostly cuz it's hard to follow)...  :tongue:

It's Jan Svankmajer. And it isn't exactly animation, it combines live action with puppet animation. Very nice work indeed. Another must see version of Alice is that by Jonathan Miller made back in 1966. It's very different from most other adaptations including Svankmajer's. Miller evokes quite haunting and surrealistic Victorian dreamworld from the viewpoint of a child wandering through the alien landscape of adult attitudes and prejudices. The acting persons are dressed normally (the rabbit, caterpillar etc. - they're all humans). Miller takes Carroll literally. For instance, the Hatter and the March Hare are mad in a real way rather than the typically overblown cartoonish way. Surrealistic? Psychedelic? Well, it's definately unusual. Oh, and the original score by Ravi Shankar :thumbup:
