I've never tried acid before, and just got a double dipped hit. I was gonna go to blockbuster and rent a couple movies to watch. any suggestions? and NO im not renting a scary movie, i wanna have a good trip...so dont tell me to go out and get SAW or The ring...ill fuckin freak out:-)
anyway whats good fellow trippers?

If you want comedy get some real looney bits like monty python or old saturday night live episodes. The special effects of science fiction movies is always a turn on, perhaps Matrix if you haven't seen them too many times or pink floyd's The Wall.

double dipped? we talkin acid or baskin robbins? heh. monty python's the meaining of life, life of brian, and holy grail are all great movies. lots of cartoons are good like space ghost, aqua teen, beavis and butthead, etc.

I think you should reconsider renting a movie. Maybe you would have
more fun hanging out outside (careful if it's cold) and watching the
stars or clouds. Better than any movie, especially when mixed with
psychedelics.
Also, did you pay extra for the double dipped hit?

First time on LSD..wow...you'll be thinking about so many different dimensions to one thing...amazing experience.. The last time I had double dipped, I couldn't stop thinking.. it just keeps going... you'll think about one thing, then another aspect and it'll keep going for the entire duration. And watching tv.. damn.. commercials will seem to last forever just to get you to buy their product. Have fun.

I agree with BloodNOil and am surprise at how many other people dont consider watching a movie with taking LSD to be a waste of time. Like BloodNoil says go outside for a walk in the park, or stay inside, turn off the lights, throw on some music and get a real feel for what LSD has to offer. Please do not dwell on trivial things such as television and shifting patterns, there is much more to learn about with this substance.

Pretty much any Disney movie will rock your world.
Fantasia, Fantasia 2000, Alladin, even Snow white.
Another cool movie that my friends watch alot is Ferngully.
and, in honor of Hunter, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

has anyone pointed out that "double dipped hits" are a scam? The paper will only hold X amount of the substance, so after the first "dip", the paper is filled to capacity and will hold no more. If you paid double, you got owned.

Flesh Gordon (not flash, *FLESH*). It's a soft porn version of Flash Gordon, it's hilarious. Actually, I don't think it fits the porn category, the special effects and jokes are too good for a porn film.
I watched Apocalypse Now (Redux) on mushrooms and was quite incredible, I highly recommend it
Also, when I was comming down from my first acid trip I saw the video of Radiohead's Knives Out, and was sooo beautiful, I couldn't believe it... worlds within worlds!

The Grateful Dead movie, there are no other choices for a first time trip. If the acid is bogus, it won't matter.
