Oh my god, last night we were at some guys house in BFE while I was tripping pretty hard. This guy put on one of the Iraq videos while the guy was getting his head cut off on repeat for like decades (or so it felt like), with the volume very high. I was flipping out. He kept playing it over and over, and caused me to have a VERY bad trip for the next 30mins or so. So yeah, that video is NOT a good tripping "movie".

Good tripping movie - Naqouiquatsi Bad tripping move - Alice in Wonderland
-------------------- We live together, we act on, and react to, one another; but always and in all circumstances we are by ourselves. The martyrs go hand in hand into the arena; they are crucified alone. Embraced, the lovers desperately try to fuse their insulated ecstasies into a single self-transcendence; in vain. By its very nature every embodied spirit is doomed to suffer and enjoy in solitude. Sensations, feelings, insights, fancies--all these are private and, ex- cept through symbols and at second hand, incommunicable. We can pool information about experiences, but never the experiences themselves. From family to nation, every human group is a society of island universes.

Seriously guys... Waking Life is the best tripping movie I've ever seen. Everyone needs to buy a copy and watch it the next time you trip. It will really make you think about life in general, and may even help make breakthroughs.

Christopher Walken is my favourite actor... ever.
If I ever saw him in a movie while being on shrooms, I'd probably shit my pants laughing, just cause the way he talks is fucking awesome.

Waking Life is one of my favorite movies ever and cannot be explained, but everytime im tripping and try to watch it it hurts my head and gives me headaches. it is very hard on the eyes without being on psychoactives in the first place

Can you concentrate on a movie when you trip? I've tripped many times but never felt inclined to watch anything.. what's it like? Does anything make sense? Are you more or less aware of time passing?
I'd be interested to know!

actually my first few times i tripped i based it around these movies, Fear and Loathing, The Wall, Darkside of The Rainbow. They all had me super intune and thinking a mile a minute about all this theoretical stuff.
if you normally dont like movies then i guess its hard but i love movies.
try it next time - base your whole tripnight around a badass movie.

I'm more partial towards watching movies on dxm myself although there are a few movies i do enjoy on mushrooms.
"Stay Tuned"- some crazy ass movie about a guy that sells his soul for cable tv and gets sucked into the television "Alice in Wonderland"- obvious reasons "Fantasia"- wonderful music + amazing animation "Finding Nemo"- Beautifully rendered CGI adventure
I can pretty well enjoy anything animated on shrooms though its a rare instance that i have the patience to watch them on anything other than a low dose.

The movie 'PI' is superior.
Only in a dimensionally hyper state may one (of you average minded peasants) fully appreciate the underlying design of this mathematically orchestrated universe.

You want a good mind fuck movie that left me drooling was Twin Peaks "Fire walk with me"
Another one that will trully blow your mind is "Naked Lunch" Originally a book by William S. Burrows.
I'm a bit of an old time and these movies are a bit old, but in my youth one time on a good mix of mesacline and payote a buddy suggested we watch a couple trip movies...needless to say I'll never forget those movies even through the years.
And yes I was caught drooling about an hour and a half into Fire walk with me

I once watched South Park the movie on shrooms, but I didn't really watch it much... I stared at the ceiling for most of the time.

I feel that the Yellow Submarine is probably by far my favorite tripping movie. I found that Finding Nemo was also really good. The Wall unfortunately is definitely not on my list for good movies to watch while trippin as I prefer something a bit more lively and happy.

i will have to try yellow submarine, seems like it would be very good.how about the waking life. i haven't done it,but i think it would be amazing for the trips when your brain starts thinking at incredible rates, and you really feel what you're thinking. has anyone done it.
