I'm thinking of taking up a new hobby. ;-) I have a few questions though. 1: Aproximately how long does it take from spore to finished product? 2: Aproximately how much mushies should I expect to be able to produce with limited supplies and not much space. 3: Does anyone know if those HydraPod thinga-ma-do-hickeys are worth getting? 4: Could someone point me in a good direction for getting started on researching cultivation of muchrooms. I'm going to check out erowid's cultivation vaults when I get time, but if anyone knows of a better place to go, I'm all ears. Yah, I really hate newbie questions too. lol ;-)

1. Ballpark figure = one to one and a half months. 2. Ballpark fiqure = 3 to 5 dry grams per cake per flush. 36 to 60 dry grams per 12 cake flush. 108 to 180 dry grams per 12 cakes with 3 flushes. 3. I would not suggest them as normal PF-Tek will work fine. 4. Grow/Find section of the shroomery.org

Your here man, a super comprehensive research facility. We have lead reseachers on the hydro-pod setup... :) But really click on Grow/Find in the left hand menu...go from there... As far as the hydro-pod goes, if you dont wanna build a Fruit chamber yourself this seems a good way to go.Its pretty small fits in a closet and deals with co2...You can get off cheaper building one but, that is not a practical solution for everyone..I dont think the hydro pod is expensive for what it is...its very Tidy and you dont have to fan 3 times a day(right?).
