i said sometimes, but then I realized they weren't dates. I would go with her to her work often at the restaurant that she worked in and she would pay for my food there which she got really cheap. But it wasn't like going out on a date. I always have paid for those.

sometimes...first few if she offers after me i do. good way of seeing what people are like. if they are no different after spending the money i get the feeling they arent jsut using me. sad way of doign things, but tehre is lots of gold diggers out there...even though i got no gold.

i would push the issue like i wanted to pay, then gauge her reaction, if she got forceful, id let her do it, if not id pay like normal...

but usually i dont go on dates anyways

Oriental people are funny with money. My best friend is chinese 2nd generation and the gambling, and their way about money is particular.

If I am broke I let her. Otherwise I ll pay for her if we out when is more than friends. But then when the relationship goes further is more like sharing.

If it is an actual date then No, I will always pay....but if we are just goin out as friends then we usually split it. If I offer to pay for the movie/dinner with a girl and she accepts, then it can be considered more of "a date" then just a guy and girl goin out as buddies.

If the girl expects me to pay and takes it for granted that I will I'll go half and half.. but if she offers to pay, even for her half, I'll pay for everything.

Any girl who expects the guy to pay for everything and fuss over her constantly isn't right for me anyway. I have no problem paying for her but I refuse to be put in a situation were it's either I pay or she leaves. Luckily I haven't met any girls like that yet.

here's how it works here, date or no date...if you invite someone, you pay, if you ask them if they want to come along, it's half and half. Be very wary of just who you invite to a bar...
