- Rush (first band I actually "listened to"... hemispheres is epic for me.. especially cygnus x-1)
- Metallica (my uncle gave me master of puppets on vinyl when it first came out.. I was what.. 5)
- Megadeth (raised on megadeth)
- Slayer - of course
- Testament - the better metallica..haha
- Anthrax - among the living
- Opeth - discovered these guys during my lsd era.. they blew me away then, and they blow me away now
- Dream Theater - holy shit
- Led Zeppelin - yeah
- Nevermore - another lsd era band.. listened to dreaming neon black in the dark on a ten strip on repeat for 8 hours. visual madness. these guys inspired the fuck out of me
- Nirvana - when I was an alien..cultures weren't opinions

are probably the top bands that influenced me the most

of course there is probably like ten thousand other influences.. all kinds of rock..classic and modern.. jazz.. flamenco.. electronica more recently.

oh yeah and classical music helped my brain develop or something. my mom played that in my crib when I was a baby... I think it helped develop my passion for music at a young age. I love any mozart, beethoven, vivaldi, bach, etc.
