hmmm i guess i could just list cd's i remember having in my 5 disk cd changer in my car when i was a senior in high school.

primus - suck on this (saw band live)
red hot chili peppers - blood sugar sex magic (saw band live)
pearl jam - ten (saw band live)
nervana - nevermind
NIN - the downward spiral (saw band live)

/me changes out 5 disk tray to find:

megadeath - countdown to extinction (saw band live)
metallica - "black album" (saw band live)
pink floyd - DSotM (saw band live)
Led Zeplin - house of the holy [could be any of them, really]
stevie ray vaughn - texas flood [could be any of these too]

but hey, all that stuff was on the radio then. after that, i went to college and found acid (i was flowing like water in the early to mid 90's). then i started listening to bjork, brian eno, philip glass, jah wobble, radiohead, and really got deep into bebop jazz. then, like everyone else, i got into more electronica when exstacy hit the scene. stuff like rabbit in the moon, chemical brothers, portishead, prodigy (jilted generation), massive attack, tricky, etc.

Hmm, when I was very young, I was introduced to music from
Marvin Gaye
Al Green
Earth Wind and Fire

As I grew into my teens:
Metallica
Guns and Roses
Poison

Then mid-teens:
Nirvana
Green Day
Stone Temple Pilots
Belly
Weezer

Now, I listen to everything!

First favourite song EVER = Bob Segar, Old Time Rock 'N Roll
I was about 5 or 6 and I would listen to it over and over and over and over and rock out while my mom did housework.

Early Days:
Three Dog Night
Elvis
Beach Boys
Bon Jovi

Teenage Years:
Pink Floyd
The Doors
AC/DC
Sublime
No Doubt
Shawn Mullins

Currently:

Hmm... I'm still pretty young, so nothing's really changed since my teenage years... But when I was real little, this is the music that I played or was played to me:::

The Beatles
Neil Young
Stevie Wonder
Kate Bush
The Kinks
Blondie
Beastie Boys
Sonic Youth
Cocteau Twins
Afrika Bambaattaa

If I remember back far enough, I probably heard some Peter Paul and Mary... maybe even some Raffi. Hopefeully it didn't influence me too much though.
