The S&P Prayer

Please Lord help me to overcome my attachments to the physical plane. I come here because I pretend that I want to grow when all I really want is to reaffirm my current faulty outlook on life. I realize that teachings are frequently unwanted yet necessary devices to shock me out of my illusion, but take these false beliefs away from me painlessly and easily and in the manner of my choosing even though I have been unable to change on my own and would kill to protect my views. I will tell the cosmos in what form my lesson shall take and shall cry loudly when it comes in an unexpected manner.

Amen.

Congratulations, Swami. It must have taken some courageous soul-searching to realize what's been obstructing you so. Your ability to poke fun at yourself in this way shows that you've found a tremendous sense of self-confidence. Yes, my lord and master Swami. I had promised you my undivided attention and devotion and trust in you as a teacher. But, I am just a man and you are more than that. I allowed doubt to creep in when I questioned your motives when I found out you were teaching under a different name. I should have known then as I do now that it was for my well being, and not for any other reason.

As humble servants, who are we to question our masters?

Forgive me, oh lord and master Swami. You are a great teacher and you have my complete attention and respect. Thank you for your sharing your selfless and pure teachings with us.

Im guilty of bruising other ego's. i throw my hands up on that one. Im amused by these Catholic style Buddhists. They wouldnt take a shit without Buddha saying so first. Yet they would happily go door to door pointing out scriptures, or failing that come to the shroomery and basicaly do the same!

I most certainly bow to Swami, keep cutting through the BS man.  :cool:
