So I had my home computer logged into an account, went to my parents, logged the same account on there's... no problem ... just said there was already one logged at another location, but that it was ok. I think i may have left my parents computer logged in, but can't tell now. i came home and was still logged in, but rebooted and when I went to log back in, said that my AIM account was blocked.
wtf?
anyone know an AOL operator that can hook it up?
i tried going to aim for a contact email, but there is none.
i had a big buddy list going, tons of creativity brimming from my away msgs, and now i have to get a new account that will start me at zero? how will i ever remember the long lost names of so many psuedo-acquaintances?
pleeeeeze help muh!

next time you get that messege put AOLSYSTEMMSG on your buddy list and type '2' to sign off your account from other computers.

zippoz ... nothing of the sort. cross my heart.
GratefulJim ... how can I put them on my buddy list if I can't log in to the account? that's the problem. the prob wasn't signing in to different places, as I did, and received a system note saying that I simply was on two diff comps. I can't even log in one place now.

I've had this same problem before. I cant remeber exactly what I did to fix it. I think I just unplugged my router and rebooted my computer. Have you tried logging on to the account from a different computer? also try logging on through AIM Express CLICK HERE and see if it works or not.

happened to me once when I got a virus, but I am a paid aol user, and they banned me cause my computer was sending spam or something through there system.

Im sure you saw that already. Im trying to find a technical support screenname so I can chat with them for you. Did you try creating a NEW account to see if that works?

Any luck with unplugging your connection? I remeber how I fixed mine now...I shut off my PC and pressed the reset button on my router a few times. Im not sure if you are wired through a router or what not. But if it comesdown to it you can always contact your ISP and ask for your IP to be changed.

I have 3 diff accounts, 1 of which is the blocked one, all usually used from the same IP. I haven't tried the modem yet, but I'll give it a wing here in a minute. Thanks for all your help peoples!
