because we are currently down.
plz excuse the intrusion,
we have been hospitable in the past when shroomery was offline.
our server box has been hacked,
we are currently installing a new box
and upgrading our software
but it looks as if
it will be at least until thursday
possibly friday
before we will be ready
to resume regular activity.

I don't go to Mycotopia. I think I might have created an account there with my Shroomery name some years ago but I haven't been there in a long time. Nothing against it but the Shroomery has always been my home and I feel comfy here. Theres good info/people at both places. Does Mycotopia have gatherings like the Shroomery? That is the one thing that I always really liked about this place. Its a community that goes beyond the internet. I'd like to think that Mycotopia has the same sense of community over there, but I do not know.
I've always wondered, when the Shroomery goes down is there an influx of Shroomery members at Mycotopia?

Yeah it's too bad this thread isn't in OTD. 
Hippie sent me a PM over there telling me that I was not allowed to let the community know that mikeonow told somebody here to eat a deadly mushroom in the hunting forum. He then proceeded to edit any posts I made trying to do so.
He also said that it was only causing "shroomery related drama". He went as far as saying that shroomery members are just as rude towards mycotopia members when I said that the hatred towards Shroomery members was appauling. A complete contradiction of what he said tonight. Seems like a common case of  when in a time of need to me.

no I wasn't talking smack about hip, I was thanking him for informing me of the status of mycotopia. I respect hip and all he's done for our community, I've only been back for a few hours and people are already shootin at each other... sheesh really makes me appreciate the topia... Sorry guys I still have nothing against the shroomery though:)

generally the members here seem to be a bit younger and this site sees much more traffic which attracts alot more dumbasses
lots of 16 year olds here posting allot of crap and these same people love to flame others because they think they know their shit because they have done a couple invitro grows under their bed at their mom's house
that said, there are a bunch of you here that have your heads on straight and know your shit but the reason remains that I post on mycotopia more because the maturity level of most of the members is a little higher and when people start stupid shit there they get banned quick
I don't hate all shroomery members probably about 10% of them but they make the whole message board look bad
