Libertarian info?
    #320444 - 05/19/01 04:49 AM (21 years, 4 months ago)

Can you list some websites that have info about the libertarian party? I have removed myself from all forms of politics for a couple of years, since all that's going on around me is truly disgusting, and I would like to know some more about the libertarians.

A noble end may justify shameful means. But when the end is shameful, what then?-Aldous Huxley (Point Counter Point)

Haha...good question! Here you go:

There's www.lp.org....Libertarian party homepage.

Harry Browne's website: www.harrybrowne2000.com

Both those site's have an overview of the platform. If you want basic, compact info, those are your best bets.

Free Market Network

This really is the treasure trove of all things libertarian. You can find links to pretty much any issue you can think of here. About half-way down the home page, you'll find the partner's section. There's a plethora of links there. Within those sites, you can find links to other sites, and so-on....

Also, within the Freemarketnet site itself there are plenty of articles, and really good information as well.

If you are curious, here's some information on the original Libertarians
before the term was co-opted and distorted in the 1960s & '70s:
