How do I pasteurize the cow poop? I know my wife will freak if I'm putting cow poop in the oven but if I have to you better belive I'd do it and you can bank on that brother! Also, should I use a layer on the bottom and can I use perlite instead of vermiculite? I was thinking that if I put perlite on the bottom it will give the crumbled cakes moisture and the cow shit will hold the humidity in so the perllite will not suck the water out of the cakes. I'm way off, huh!

as always McMann is right.. i remember him helping me out back in the didday ...i use about 1/4 inch perlite layer(just to cover the bottom of my casing bin)... pasturizing is done when you heat water to 170degrees(get yourself a candy thermomiter , less than 4 bux at the local A&P) or if your really broke bring some water to a rapid boil and let it boil there for like 5-10 min (worked for me) that should bring the temp up so you can pasturize...

now were gonna take a break cause i see you live with the wife and all ... go to home depo and buy yourself one of those 5gal paint buckets with a lid...because you can do all the doo doo you need in this little sucker and if you dont wanna keep it inside then you can put it outside (if you dont live around a bunch of nosey people) ... and just think even if some found it why would they want to steal some nasty looking stuff like that?

then take your boiling water and pour it over your crap which should be in somekind of cloth bag (an old pillow case that has been in the laundry, old t-shirts work... use your imagination)so the water can drain... then let it all cool... once it's cool you need to leach your crap ... leaching is just a fancy name for getting the exess water out of the bugger by letting it drip dry till there's no more water visibly dripping out ... when that's done give your sack a good squeeze and your done ... pasturized crap! oh ... and you'r doing all of this because you dont want any bug larva/bug eggs/other fungus/other contams left alive... nice CLEAN shit! lol that's a good one! peace and good luck

Give a starving man a fish and he'll live , but teach him to fish and he'll never starve again.
