Spent 6 months lurking and must have soaked it up because this cat came in cruisin (and with good reason).

You clearly have better comprehension skills than I did when I first started.  Honestly, it's impressive how you digested the base concepts of cultivation so quickly and were moving on to nute ratios for exotics substrate right out the gate.  With perception, humility, self awareness, and no fear of failure, you have honed your cult-intuition in a most honorable way. 

More than that, your input on non-cult topics can be so grounded and laid back that I'm starting to think you live up to your name.  Your giveaway stood out to me, too; the intention of it, specifically: waste-not want-not and give the cultures a good home.  It all shows that you have a healthy respect and love for life, and that's as shroomy as it gets. 

Thank you for spending your time with us, and for sharing your journey into cult.  You're more than welcome here and we're blessed to have you.

I, ah, had no idea this was even a thing. ๐Ÿ˜‚  I saw your DM and thought I was getting pranked. Such kind words you shared, I truly appreciate that.

A lot of great names on the list before me, Iโ€™ve learned something from many of them. The Shroomery has been one of those refreshing corners of the net for mycology, that is largely focused on the art and the science. Where Iโ€™ve been able to learn and grow - no pun Intended - my passion.

Iโ€™ll be sticking around, because I am after all still a noob, and have much to learn!

Oh gosh, I only realized this was a thing days ago and now I'm lucky enough to be nominated. :blush:

It means much to me that it was Agar wedge to break the news. You were the first to help me out to get that important first grow.

I don't know much what to say about my self. I crawled out of the dirt in Alabama and spent most of my early days outdoors.
Later in life I moved to an area in the midwest for a better climate and to be near friends.

Had a lots of ups and downs and downs.. lost community and found myself being detached from anything that resembled what I used to be.
Ended up in a much safer place a while after and got my first rescue reptile lil-man. This set off a little spark that re-ignited a little flame from a little me.

I started to re-connect to my love for animals, plants and everything nature had to offer. Unfortunately around this time i started experiencing chronic fatigue and pain when doing more taxing activities like working, hiking, standing long term etc. Fortunately around this time my collection of reptile rescues had grown.

Having cute little creatures relying on me helped keep me grounded but my body keeping me from going outside to trails and reserves more than once a couple weeks and overall feeling like a burden still weighed on me. This was around the time I started looking into :mushroom2:.

I'll skip the trial and error there but it was very dramatic at points! After my first grow and few experiences I found that the medicine worked amazingly for self worth issues, made me feel spry for a while, and most of all was a joy to cultivate.

Now I'm here browsing the forum with too much time on my hands. so I try to help in the little places I can.

And I think I've been long winded now.. :scaredturtle:

I have many things coming up that I'll be chuffed to share here with you all. :flowers:
