I confess I started looking through photos from a few years ago... And I was hit by a sense of loss and deep nostalgia. It’s rare for this particular feeling to visit me — it really should have its own name.

I saw people who are no longer here, I saw times that have passed... I saw a version of myself that's gone now. Damn bias of taking photos only during the best moments, or maybe it's just the mind idealizing them — I don't know. When I look at things this way, I get attached to life and I just don't want to die.

I know, it's stupid — but that's how I feel it. It feels like every past time was better. The mind is a strange thing.

I'm grateful I came here and to have you guys, "the strangers," even as I connect more or less along the way. Damn...

It's a good chunk of a lifetime, for sure.

Fid, I know — I've already seen a few things around the forum. And growing in the bathtub, using towels, and I'm sure plenty of other things too. Still, if there's one thing I admire in people, it's curiosity and perseverance.

Achieving "success" is easy — the hard part is persevering and having enough curiosity to get obsessed — to actually make it happen.

I completely agree. For me getting proficient with the basics was important beyond just being able to grow with a high level of success. It was also to give me a foundation to be able to satisfy my curiosity and push the envelope of why and how things work with the organism.

The amount of Mono's you pushed out... the only one I can think of that has us all beat is Faht, but the sheer volume... epic shit Pasty.

I think it was FrankH that was pasteurizing coco at the time (wild discussions), some nice battles of poly vs MP... what was it... tight AF bottom holes, Loose top holes for poly days. Man, I'll be 49 in November, SON of A... I started out in late 11' or 12', I don't count the failed attempt (homestead book company, back when I read High Times religiously) in 97'. I was doomed from the start knowing what I know now. Game changer TC's who changed the game for the future to be. :peace:
