I keep forgetting the journal is a thing, lol.  I might still do 'er as a thread in Sci+Tech and do the signature link thingie.  Better mouthfeel or somethin', ya know?

Also, I'm...well, I don't care for generative AI.  Like, at all.  Putting aside the fact the models are trained on mountains of stolen content, consume copious amounts of precious fresh water, contaminate said fresh water w/ their run-off, and gleefully butt-fuck the local power grid... (deep breath)  They're also contributing to the cognitive decline of its users.  I don't wanna empower further, actual brainrot.  I'm better than that.  YOU'RE better than that.  We're ALL better than that, because we are ALL better than the Peters Thiel, Elons Musk, and Jeffries Epstein Bezos of the world.

All of his stuff is very compelling but I linked this one in particular because I've become a little obsessed with it. He got ahold of some blueprints and archival footage of a giant mall in Dallas that was demolished a few years ago which makes it soooo much more uncanny. The Giant was also modeled after a real parade float and shit. I can't wait for the Backrooms sequel cause he absolutely knocked it out of the park with the first one.

Well, duc is allergic to onions so i gotta work around that.
I like to put a whole butternut squash in there for sweetness.
I also use a shitload of sambal, because. Sambal!

I have a confession:

The mushrooms can sometimes bring me such ecstasy that I get the message of I need to call 911 to notify the authorities of this new alien technology in my hands that can end scarcity.

Thankfully gf stopped me this past time.

Last time emergency came a few years ago, I told them I was God. Nothing came from it, story was too high on legal edibles.

Like, unfortunately my brain convinces me that the simulation made the "Don't Call the Cops" a funny barrier to bypass to transcend into the next levels.
