I confess all my nopours ended up with lotsa sedament n excess moisture they probably cooked... Though I still used em anyways as it's been few days n they don't smell baccy n if it works it works if not then I retry nopours till I get it right

I double confess I forgot to set PC time so I guesstimated and probably overpced it :uhoh:

I triple confess I finally got around to using THE LAST UNCLE BENS BAGS FOR ME FOREVER. I EXPECT YOU GUYS TO HOLD ME TO THIS STANDARD OF PREPARING MY OWN GRAINS FROM NOW ON. !!!!

DID 2 JOSEX POKES of atl7 to ub mainly to see how clean the culture is n see if I can't pull a clean colonized grain back to agar though if it's good il send it x.x

Did 11 lc to ub of hillbilly after I tested the culture on agar n the agar plate no transfers it pinned out n blobbedout (maby stoned out idk ๐Ÿ˜ถ)

The stones or blobs are definitely not wetbuble mycogone  though probably slightly baccy who knows though that's also why I sent it to grains so many times to see what it does n how dirty if it is dirty.

I triple confess evin if things look clean on agar I don't trust it till I eather get plins or send it to grains to see what it actually does because I have lots lots lotsa more experience with many diff kinds of mycelium on grains ๐Ÿ˜… and I lwk prefer to grab grains I consider clean as I've had 0 failures with doin that to cleanup sofar n always ended up with vigourous growth when put back to agar or grains later :popcorn:

I finally did some cult it's been to long legit half way through I was like damnnn this alot of work I'm outa shape ๐Ÿฅต

I just got moved into a new place and i made 12 jars the other night. they are sitting in the pressure cooker still. i didnt have any foil so i didnt use any.I had an extra trivet that I set on top. The lids were sfd stickers and mp tape. they were kinda rusty but totally useable. I have to inoculate them and I'm thinking about doing some agar work later tonight/early tomorrow morning.

Just spawned some caerulescens woodchip spawn that's multiple months old same for ps cyanescens to some biochar because I'm pretty sure no one else has tryed using biochar for a substrate :muppet:

Surprisingly it was easyer to get to field capacity than coir or peat moss for me and lwk felt better in my opinion who knows if this works it might be my go-to substrate as it's plant and woody material ๐Ÿ˜

Might be that medium ground woodlovers n dunglovers n soil lovers all like :popcorn::takingnotes:

Condolences to you and your family. Grief is disorienting and can impair our judgement and function in ways that most of us would be surprised to learn. One of the big things familyโ€™s ask me days to weeks after we sit together, is what happened? What did we actually do and decide after 4 hours of sitting down. The paperwork, the decisions made, the dates planned, itโ€™s all a blur to them.

Take time for yourself and do not try to rush through is the best advice I can give. Dealing with grief is not like passing a test or being certified in something. You canโ€™t just speedrun any part of it because it will always come back later. Take time for yourself and to reflect. Find a healthy outlet if you need to, or even an unhealthy one if needed, just be careful and know that when you come back there are people that care. This stuff is super hard to deal with. Be careful and be gentle with yourself and your brothers memory.
