I don't think cabins work for mold. It's more for bacteria.

After you have loaded a picture, click 'ok' and it will add it to the post

I have never tried using it to get rid of mold. I always have multiple plates for each set of genetics as well as spores or whatever I use as an inoculate. If a plate gets mold I usually just toss it and go back to Spore if I have to

I got mold out of my squatty Mac using a cabin and getting aerial myc using Fahts tek for the cabin. My cube myc grew much faster and more aggressive than the mold through the firmer agar I had so I was able to transfer before mold made it out of the cabin . I guess it will depends on what mold you got. I have never had trich in the plates, only on my sub a couple times.

I would def hot pour first tho.

Thank you for all the suggestions

I have multiple plates of this clone im trying to clean up but all of them are contammed so my sterile technique is severely lacking

I have a bit of the original T0 jars that i transfered to these plates and Im just trying to clean this bih up for CAKE WARS III... (JOIN TODAY BTW)

And i googled trich, it said it was a fungus not a mold, is this true?

Is it standard protocol to clean agar plates in a SAB?

Ive been using a LFH this whole time,  I feel like this may be most of my problem

Some people leave they're agar petris to dry humidity off in front of lfh with lids off n no contam so unsure. U try the lighter test to see if it's true laminar flow? U don't want eddies
