Fist off happy to be part of this community ! I have been a fan of P.Cub for many years amd decided to try and grow my own!!

I would like your opinions  because i am at a stage that i am worried .. that it is not strong enought or scared of  contaminents etc..

Here are some pictures!

I am at the 7th day of introducing fruiting  env. After casing laying have been added.

Thank you

Welcome to the shroomery!:mushroom2:

Thanks for signing on and sharing what you've got growing. You've got bacterial contamination going on for sure. You can tell by the milky like growth. Not sure how many mushrooms you'll get considering the severity that it appears to be. Though it won't hurt to keep around to see what happens. None the less this whole hobby is a learning experience and if you keep at it, you will absolutely succeed.

Please give this a good read:

Hitchhikers guide

It will help cut through a lot of misinformation on the topic of mushroom cultivation.

On a side note, after spawning, there is no introduction of fruiting conditions. Cubes are happy in a fruiting chamber without any gadgetry, fanning or misting. Please keep us posted if you have anymore question:hug::mushroom2:

Welcome, Astroknip!

Are those yellow tones on the mycelium just an effect from the photo, or does it actually have those yellowish spots?

What strain is it?

If it's actually white, it doesn't look bad at all. Be patient.

Is that a bottle?

Hugs

Water beading makes it look bluish.. bad lighting  i guess.. super nice forum guys and gals realy diging the reading!!
THANKS for the comments.. no such thing as fruiting contidions notes. I had read that incorporating indirect light and fresh air exchange  syatyes the primordia.. but all good no such thing.. so should i let it in darkness etc.?

It's also possible the coir is overly hydrated, looks very wet, the dense growth pattern and heavy beading before full colonization is what has me thinking this or bacteria. As mentioned I think it's worth riding out to see what happens. There's not much else to do at this point in the grow but watch and wait.

Edit: only other way to keep the grow going is to learn Agar, plate some mycelium so you can see how clean it is, then go about transferring as needed to clean it up, or select the fastest growing mycelium for future grows. It's essentially the unlimited mushroom glitch unlocked.

On another note, when spawning, it's best to level out the coir the best you can. All those chunks force the mycelium to do extra work covering unnecessary surface area.

If this hobby has taught me anything, it's to keep the projects rolling. The more the merrier. Then a lost tub isn't everything.

Sorry, I should clarify on the fruiting conditions: after you spawn to bulk, nothing further is required but light. The passive air exchange of a closed tub will suffice for gas exchange. If you are using a sealed dome or tub then it will need to be modified to allow the passive air exchange.

Check these fruiting chambers out for reference

Ai will never be able to replicate how awesome and helpful the folks around here are. Decades of growers compiling information from first hand experience. Glad you've joined the mission!:mushroom2:

What does your process look like?

How about your fruiting chamber?

We're gonna help you grow more mushrooms than you could ever possibly need:hehehe::mushroom2:

I can totally relate to being cockeyed looking pins when I started out:rofl: then when they emerged, I stared at them for long periods of time lol. It's like seeing a rainbow or other natural wonder. Pure joy. Not to mention the experience that comes after harvest :hehehe::shroomin:

Thanks for the kind words on our community!

Some of those droplets are on the larger side (the small ones are great), I'd let them evap just a bit so it doesn't start pooling, but in general it looks real happy and surface conditions seem good, keep going and let it ride, you're on track.

Myc looks fine to me, the water drops might suggest you need a bit more air flow to initiate pinning.  Make sure the casing is the right pH and you should be good!

Otherwise, patience is the hardest part.  Experience will help with that, so keep on truckin!

It's a psuedocasing anyway (doesn't contain nutrients) of off-the-shelf coir, it's fine. In all my years of cubes never once have I measured coir PH. 9 posts zero rates I wouldn't sweat that advice too hard tbh.
