cool idea for grow chamber

Today I noticed a pop cooler sitting beside the dumpster of a radio station. It's one of those you see in gas station that have plastic dome lids and ice inside with the pop. It looks like a big pop can. Well I snagged it and cleaned it up, and it looks cool. It even has a drain with a spout out the back you can turn on and off.
it's about 1 1/2 ft. deep and 2ft. in diam.

The possibilities are endless! If the dome lid fits tightly, and I'm sure it does, personally I'd hook up my humidifier through the hole in the bottom and see how well that works. Great find!

I'm still a newbie. Could someone give me tips on how to set something like this up. I would like to use a cool mist, but not sure if I should use in combo with perlite. Should I have the mist coming in at the top or bottom? Should I put h202 with the cool mist? Where can I get it? Any help would be appreciated, especially from the experts.
