^ not quite true, and a recent paper came out that had some interesting implications.

Cube is a cube felt real, because the reality was the vast majority of classic genetics were relabelled GT. Ecuador, Amazon, etc, all of these strains were really just inbred isos at most that they marketed.

It's one reason I've been so interested in wild varieties and crosses. There is more variety out there, and its worth exploring.

Everything I've read or absorbed from conversations here is JMF and Blue meanies are just cubes, PE is the only special cube, and pans kick ass.

Blue meanies might indeed be some bootleg golden teacher though they where more potent n quicker growing than the gt I grew 😅

A cube is a cube has almost always referred to growing conditions.

Blue meanie cubes predate TAT.

They were just another one of those early strains that someone slapped a name on and inbred forever.

Which comparing to a few years ago people started releasing completely unstable lines.

Which world do you prefer?

Correct its a P.Cube and based on the study the huskies linked, it seems to be just a good 'ol GT.

Pan cyan has the nickname blue meanies and thats the "true" blue meanies. Some cluck just decided to name his "cube strain" because he felt like it and now there's a bunch of 'this that' out there because of it.

Let's hope they are 😁 i got some pinning right now so we'll see. They took their sweet time to knot up though thats for sure. Its about damn time they sprouted up.

The real blue meanies is a pan. But the marketed bootleg cube is just that. There's definitely a blue meanie original and that refers to the pans.

What is the Whispy stuff exactly? I found more plates with it Shit...

The whispy unorganized growth is usually mold

Interesting mold that doesn't looks brown ore yellow just white.

I ask myselfe what goes wrong I pressure cooked the Agar and the dishes hmm.... Bevore this tek I pressure cooked the dish with the agar in the same dish so not seperat... Tomorrow i make it again with hopefully no mold transfer again.

A lot of molds start white and then turn colors once they sporulate, or rather, they start producing spores that are colored. It does look like the mold is eminating from the rim of the dish, so it's probably from handling the plate during your transfer/wrapping it. I wipe my hands with ISO very frequently during SAB sessions in an effort to minimize physically transferring contams with my hands.

Hi, I don't think i didn't work clean enough i belive the PC wasn't long enough so today i let it PC for 40min not 25min.. My G1 transfers looking great G2 ether but back then i PC the Plates with the Agar inside at the same time this time i PC the Agar seperat and the PP5 Container seperat then after i fill the agar in the Plates in my Still Air Box that's what i see lot of People do when they making Agar in a Small Jar Bottle. I hope this time it will works.</font></font></font>

Fiet, try pouring your plates and letting them sit for a week or so before using them, if nothing grows on them you know your pouring process is clean, if not you need to change something in that process. If they're clean after a week and then contam after you make a transfer onto them, you know the problem is during that process. The candle behind the SAB is concerning, as fire moves air quite a bit. Also working directly on the floor of the SAB is a concern as well, get some sort of wire rack to work on.
