I wouldn't put a whole lot of faith in that. They're chances of survival are much higher if spawned in the spring, but if you're set maybe shred some and leave some whole. :shrug:

Definitely. I find it the only species where I can consistently eat a decent small dose (like 0.25g) and not have my mental state altered almost whatsoever. Although sometimes it can be "too chill" - after my last trip with them I was left with a completely blank mind - felt like an intense meditative state. It was so different from my normal ADHD brain that it felt a bit uncomfortable, but the clarity and ease of random task initiation was insane.

I'm also waiting eagerly to see if any of my patches will fruit. Considering past failures my hopes are not high, but oh well.

My Azzie print has life on Agar, woohoo, I see you... my dream of having a patch of flying saucers and my already established Ps Cyan bed... OH boy... long term goals. I'll build up some wood chips this fall/winter for an early spring drop to Naturescapes.

That's the spirit! If you have the right weather in Fall, you should see at least some fruits. Oh, and make sure you use slug bait plentifully.

It's been a really bad heat and drought here and when you mention slugs I just realized I haven't seen a single one even though it has rained a lot, i do get some random shrooms in my lawn, but never seen them being eaten, what kind of slugs are we talking about, maybe we don't have them here.

I've had azure and cyan bags colonized for about 9 months lol , soon as it cools off in my basement a few more degrees I'll soak n case

It depends where you live. I’ve had great success starting patches in late Summer/ Fall. They “ seem” to colonize faster in our Autumn weather. It’s worth noting that winters here are pretty mild so the new patch would have a good head-start before freezing weather sets in. DO IT.👍 Edit I just noticed you said MN. Very different than western Washington. So……. I got nothin’

Got to joking around and meant to post up some Outdoor pics.

Almost like it's a brand new bed again, it pretty much is. In my neck of the woods, the Cyans tend to make their appearance anywhere from around Turkey Day to New Years or so. I haven't seen any past January in my patch. Plenty of mycelium, and Food now it was bare in there. All the best with our Outdoor endeavors!

Yesterday I buried 7 shredded 1/2 pint PF Cakes to the wood chip pile. I am going to do the last 2 to sterilized wood chips in tubs to try it indoors in our cooler 4 season porch this winter.
Today MN looks a lot like the PNW weatherwise.
