this was a casing that was cased very poorly (extremely uneven pinset). after getting 5 or so meager flushes from it i decided to flip it over and birth it as a cake of sorts for one last flush to exhaust it. pins were only coming out of the sides and the thing looked dry as hell so i poured some water in the middle of the 8"x8"x2" 'cake' to try and rehydrate it, and then this happened. so far it has only happened to this one mushroom. the slime is a darker shade of blue/green on the other side of the stipe. also if you notice the blue ring around the bottom of the developing cap...all mushrooms currently growing have that same blue ring.
does anyone know if this is a symptom of a contam or if my dumb newbie self just drowned them or...?
