    #2784814 - 06/11/04 02:29 PM (13 years, 8 months ago)

Popcorn users,
when they say "remove the popcorn when you see the slime-coat",
does he mean the slime-coat on top of the water????
or the slime-coat on the kernals of corn???

I think he does what I do with corn. First I just put the corn in the pc and pc it for 45min-hour, then rince off really well before loading into the jars and then pc again for 1 hour. This seems to get the water ratio almost perfect.

PC'ing cuts down the cooking time, thats why you can PC a stew in 2/3 the time. SO boiling would work just as welll but iit owuld take longer. I dont like geting my pc that dirty and having to clean it while going through my tek.
