Nope! A couple months ago you walked me through the aerial myc trick. Did it multiple times!  (Did save my squaty macs that were BAD). I did cabins, trenches, and even had a plate I put a wedge on the lid, and kept the plate upside down so it reached u

So is there anything else you could think of that might be out of order?

I went through some of your posts and was wondering if you ended up fruiting these jars you posted a couple of month ago. As they don't stike me as bacterial. I see this kind of wetness more with very aggressive colonization producing more warmth and causing condensation in the jar.
In my experience it is not bad as long as you can still see the refraction of light resulting in a shiny highlighted edge the moisture trapped between the grain and the jar. If there was bacteria it would be more often than not turbid/dull looking without any sign of refraction along the edges.

I would certainly have fruited those and I'm curious how this turned out for you.

thanks for looking back! I ended up doing one more B&S and they didn’t come back at all. They were aggressive, but those were also some of the first jars I did coming back and part of my first time ever working with agar so my technique left a lot to be desired. These were also from a plate that was given to me, so I didn’t start from spores.

I did do more jars with the transfers from the plates I used in those jars and it turned out pretty bacterial. That’s when I embarked on trying to clean up the plates.

It’s totally possible that the plates were fine and I was just a newb. I totally admit it. But there was a lot of bruising like tons during break and shake, almost black. Then a very long recovery if any. But the rebound and growth looked fine UNTIL the last B&S after full colonization. I was running modified lids, cubes grown from same jar batch were good.

I was also using oats and I have rad oats work, but others are better for pans. Idk what do you guys think about that?

All of my agar at first was 10g agar 10g lme and 500ml and tons of condensation.

I would recommend to spawn at least two or three jar if they turn out like this, even if it is to just confirm your hunch that they are f'ed. I find that a late shake does more often than not look like shit but but are actually not bacterial and can turn out just fine when spawned.

I have not grown TTBVI yet but it strikes me as one of the pans which likes doing weird on another level.....sometimes you have to go against your gut feeling and run things through right to the end, even if you think failure is inevitable. Like Sherlock Holmes said:

"When You Have Eliminated the Impossible Whatever Remains, However Improbable, Must Be the Truth"

There is also a site where he specifically cultured stones as a project from tropicalis and cincts.
There are also some talk of it from other members here in this thread if you care to look into it.
