I ate a half oz of street cubes when I was like 19. Was crazy af. However compared to 3 grams of APE and it was about the same, maybe a little weaker. 3 grams APE > 14 grams street cubes. However none of this story is anything but an anecdote. Potency is all individual genetics.

Same exact story.  Thought i was a real tough guy because i could handle ten strips.  16g of dealer shrooms set me straight.  I remember them not bad looking boomers even by todays standards but nothing compared to yeti.
Still, a horrid experience.  The trees were hunting me.  They had tentacles like slimy hotdogs.

For sure.  They were potent enough to trip balls off of the first handfull we took.

Ive also had a way more visually mind blowing trip.  On just 2gs  one time.    Ive guess I always assumed that was just pe.  That I wasn't ever aware about at the time.

Alright, I agree with what SpittingHairs said.

I also stand by my view that in severe cases, medication is — and should be — taken as a scaffold for other kinds of work.

And I think that when there are multiple diagnoses alongside CPTSD, and they're treated "symptomatically" without addressing the CPTSD itself, it's like giving fever reducers to bring down a fever caused by a bacterial infection. The fever goes down, the infection stays.

The main reason I got drawn into this topic is my closest friend, who suffers from CPTSD — and other symptoms that stem from it. I recently asked in the forum about the compatibility of Pristiq with psilocybin — that was about his case. He comes from prolonged trauma that originated in childhood, which means there's no clear pre-traumatic reference point. His identity has been built on top of his CPTSD — there's no "state" to return to, because there never was one. And believe me, it's been many years of frustration and helplessness for me too. Because if I could fix it by giving him a kidney — I promise you my friend would no longer have to deal with this.

You've intuitively built a protocol that works — and that's no small thing. But the medications available will only make the collapses less catastrophic — I wish there were something better.

In this case I'd like to recommend the book "The Body Keeps the Score" by Van der Kolk, who has also been a pretty key figure in the understanding of CPTSD.

And on the other hand — after doses that high, is there still an experiencer who experiences the experience?

11g of PESH with 11g of Ochra was way too intense.

Same for 5g of TYBVI

5G of Azures was fun

Ive read it a couple times.  Theres another one that was wildly profound for me called waking the tiger.

My trauma stems from surviving a wannabe serial killer who tried to tear me apart with a hunting knife. (And was mostly successful). The months in the hospital soaking the sheets with sweat.  Pissing my pants every time they had to do a new chest tube. (Thats when breathing exercises are learned) The beeping machines all night.  Those awful fucking gowns and half blankets.  All the drugs and gabapenten.  Wires.  Tubes.  To this day i cant go back to hospitals and it causes some tension with my gf and I.  She worries--understandably--that i wont go to a hospital even if i had to to save my life. (Because i wont. Id rather die in my own bed)

For me, living with what happened is like the book life of pi. You live with this thing that could tear you apart any minute.  There is no destroying it so you just keep moving but ultimately, there are days when the tiger catches you.  I can hear my own gargled voice coming from the sucking wounds and the paramedics looking at eachother shaking their heads.  Everyone knows they'll die one day but most people dont know the feeling of knowing "youre gonna die tonight".

The real like-hack is realizing that it isnt all about me.  Helping other people makes my own problems seem irrellevant, which, they kidof are within reason.

Anyway.  Yeah my gf takes abilify and it seems to help.  I wonder if that would fuck with my ability to trip.  Its too important to give up for me.

Your story still makes my jaw drop no matter how many times I read it. And speaking of Life of Pi, that movie is awesome to watch while you're tripping.

I don't think i have to tell you that while not necessarily a bad idea, it is unambiguously too fucking much.

EDIT:

Lemontek'd the whole thing at 1033 with honey and I'm only now able to speak reasonably coherently again. I rediscovered "I think therefore I am" and spent a lot of time squelched between pocket dimensions. Figured out a bunch of stuff about myself that requires a lot more vulnerability than I can afford right now.

It is a new day, and there has been a fundamental paradigm shift.

Earlier this week I made Red Starburst Flavored Jello but I screwed up on the math and it ended up not setting. I was able to slam it back like a shot. All I could taste was Starburst and it was over before my mind tried to give me ghost heaves. 10/10 would recommend
