took some fire grilled tomatoes and peppers and cut them julienned style with some butter and oil.

let it saute for awhile on low then added some beer to deglaze and give a bit of liquid. then i slowly added cheese sauce and reduced by a 3rd.

gonna make burritos and freeze them. so fucking good :drooling:

also some salsa.

I had markangelo pork burgers for dinner, they were everything I wanted out of the "sausage strips" I posted the other day, these pork burgers tasted like sausage but had the texture of chared hamburgers after I fried them

I ate them with relish and mustard, the mustard looks gross cause it sputtered out with liquid even though I shook it, but the bottle was almost empty, and one burger is missing cause I ate it as the others cooked, I could only cook two at a time, I think it actually tasted better plain then with relish and mustard, or maybe i was just more hungry

No picture but I cooked some eggs sunny side up, I put maybe 40g tallow in a pan and cracked the eggs in, scratched the whites with the spatula to make it thinner and put a lid on for maybe a minute

I bought pork rinds to eat with them, the rinds sucked at dipping, nothing like toast, but was eggcellent to fork some white onto a rind and eat it, it stayed crunchier then a toast

That's a lot of oil bro. That's more than two tablespoons. I'm sure you can make an egg using just one teaspoon of oil instead. You probably don't even need that much. It's just to coat the bottom of the pan so the egg doesn't stick. Unless you are trying to gain weight or have some special workout requirements, I would not be eating a whole fluid ounce of oil at once.

Lazy man's meal tonight. I just got done at the apartment complex gym and I'm too starving to wait until my weekly chicken curry is done later so I made myself a turkey pattie from Aldi's real quick and plopped it right onto some tomato and orange bell pepper curry I made a couple nights ago with 6 tomatoes, 3 Bell peppers, dill, salt, coriander, cumin, turmeric, olive oil, black pepper, garam masala, Ceylon cinnamon and clove powder.

Damn this thread is dead. Tonight I'm having chicken curry with tomato Curry although it kind of basically tastes like chunky salsa.

I got a huge bag of Dill from the halal market.

I didn't eat all the tallow, most of it was still in the pan after I spatula the eggs out, just kinda like a deep fry for the whites while the yolk kinda sat on top, though I'm sure they absorbed a bunch as well

Dill is good but it has a very particular flavor so it does not go good with everything. I like putting it on my eggs and in tomato dishes. And now that I have this huge bag I will have to find some other uses. I will probably vacuum seal and freeze most of it.

Enjoying the fruits of our labor! Onion, bell and hot pepper, peas, beans, and garlic from the garden. Eggs from our chickens. Had to buy the rice and ginger, but I guess I’m not completely self sufficient just yet.

The secret to good fried rice is getting the wok screaming hot. I gotta make it outside so I don’t melt my kitchen.

Twenty minutes of prep, but everything cooks in just a couple of minutes. One of my favorite meals.

Halal market had a nice deal on these elongated funny shaped sweet bell peppers and tomatoes so I made a tomato and bell pepper curry/soup and chickpeas to go with it.

By the way I'm done with school and got my degree on July 31st so I will have more time to make uploads.

And yes that is my pipe with weed and lighter in the third picture.
