I made a roast beef, sheetpan broccoli/beans/mushrooms, and farm fresh potatoes, they still had dirt on them I had to scrub them under water before using

I forgot to take pics before everyone ate and it looked good, all I have are pics of the left overs

I ate a 50g potato even though I'm keto, I had to try a small one

The roast beef was rarer then one of my guests liked, she only ate the end pices, the center was too pink, I listened to Claude LLM and took it out at 125f I should have let it go to 130f

And I had a demi glace that came in a package, just mix with water, it was made with rice instead of wheat so it was gluten free

It wasn't even that expensive for a dinner, it came out to about $14 a person, on a normal day I eat a $6 dinner

Beef x2 lbs $22

Potatoes 1.5 lb $8

Vegetables (small broccoli, 400g beans, 250g mushroom $10

Demi glacé x2 packs $4

I had a chorizo quesadilla last night and it was perfect. It was super basic but thr simplicity allowed the chorizo to shine. The way the fat crisps up and melds with the spices is absolutely stellar.

good chorizo is fuckin sooo good but bad chorizo is so weak:lol: like johnsonville or most name brands chorizo is basically spicy italian sausage without the italians. all i got where i live is hatfield and jonhsonville. white people are generally afraid of flavor so here i am stuck with this crap :oldman:

when i lived in dc this one brand was sold in most big box grocery stores i fogot the name but they did an argentinian style that was the best ive ever had.

wifey called them argentinie wienies. so good damn i miss those:drooling:

I'm obviously biased towards my own stuff but outside of that the best I've ever had came from a carniceria in Boulder.

I ordered from ketodelia in Toronto, I was just on the edge of their delivery zone of 15km, I ordered when they opened at 10:40 and it didn't arrive till 12:30, it says on the website it might take from 1-2 hours depending what you order and how far from the store you are

I got a vegetable almond flour crust pizza cause my grandmother dosnt like meat that much, and I got a cauliflower rice sushi

The pizza was super filling, it was small, but 4 slices and I feel like I ate a whole full sized pizza, the almond flour must be more satiating then wheat

The sushi was good too, a bit diffrnt texture then rice, but with the soy and wasabi you can't taste a difference

The pizza is 4g carbs a slice, not sure about the sushi

It was expensive, I ordered 2 pizzas and a sushi only, I paid $115 after tax and tip, so I have no more eating out money this trip, I probably could have ordered 1 pizza, I didn't know I'd just eat half a pizza

But I brought enough pemmican to last me the whole trip even if I didn't buy any food

Had another chorizo quesadilla last night. I did have sour cream and guacamole this time around but I forgot to get a pic of it once it was off the flattop.

Vanilla custard with chili crunch oil. Very underwhelming. I think a drizzle of chocolate sauce and cinnamon would make it right.

I bought bacon shaped sausage, but it dost taste like sausage, it taste like fake bacon, like turkey bacon even though I think its pork

Its good but not worth the price, real bacon often sells for cheaper, and its a 1:1 food, it had the same amount of fat as protein plus carb, and I eat 2:1 macros, I double the fat

I was really hoping it would taste like sausage but be strip like bacon

Baked potato, san marzino tomato, avacado, shredded country rib, purselane, fresh basil, shredded edible chrysanthimum flowers, marigold petals, added some onion, pepper flakes and cider vinegar after the picture.

I bought a fancy thermometer that shows me the temperature as it is baking. I took it out at 135 Fahrenheit and it's at 143 right now after 8 minutes of being out of the oven. Can't wait to cut into it. This is going to be a nice rare medium.

What kind of balsamic did you use?

I seen many types, but broadly I guess there is three types

1) grape must is the only ingredient

2) grape must is the first ingredient, but there is also redwine vinegar

3) red wine vinegar is the first ingredient, and may or may not even have grape must

This one is an expensive white vinegar, I like it on cooked vegetables, I thought it was really good on rapini with some salt

This one was also expensive, I eat it on steak mostly, if I still ate pizza and stuff I'd have it on that too

This one is a fake traditional, I believe the only ingredient is grape must, its not very expensive this bottle was $20 iirc and a real traditional is $100+ dollars for a smaller size bottle, but this one can't call its self traditional cause even if its made similar, its not made in Modena or Reggio Emilia, I think its made in like.Canada or USA or something

This is just a cheap one from the grocery store I use on salads once in a while, nothing special
