1.8g Cubensis trip * 1

I just started trying out shrooms a couple of weeks ago.
First time 0,75g to get the feeling, it was light, I was feeling great and light and had slightly enhanced senses (music felt incredibly deep and everything seemed to be in HD.
One week later I did it with my girlfriend, and I took 1g and redosed to 1,5g. We waited for 1 hour and then made a walk through the forest down to the small village at the coast. It really started kicking in during the walk, specially the trees seemed to be in exagerated 3D, the view through the trees and to the horizon looked like layer after layer, like in one of those child 3D books where things pop out of the pages. At the village was a festival with a music live show and before it started I drank a beer which I think boosted the trip. The first song was just a singer with am acoustic guitar, very mellow, and I got really sucked into that song, everything else seemed to disappear and it was just the singer and the spotlight. Being around a lot of sober people, having dinner at restaurants and bars, and the beach full of people was very strange as everything seemed so odd and looked distorted. It was an extremely interesting feeling and it was fun to share it with my girlfriend.
The 3rd time I took 1,8g, in a solo session. I just wanted to try it at home on the bed with some candles and a nice playlist of music. There was nobody else but I was quite sure that I could handle it. It started to kick in at 45 minutes, quite slowly, I thought oK this will be similar to the previous experience. But suddenly I felt like sinking into the bed and the room started to bend. I was looking at the candles and suddenly my bed and my body started to be a sea of melted wax, it was like being in a fantasy movie in an instant. From there on the trip started to be real intense for me as a beginner. Apart of changing views of the room, distorting doors and suddendly seeming to be in a wood cabin or the roomed seemed to be a painting, my body started to have wavy muscle contractions going together with the music. It was like the music was flowing inside of me and I was living it, having kind of dream images when I closed my eyes, like the movie clip which would go together with the music. It would stop for a moment and then again it would start getting more intense through my body and it reminded me of the exorcist, but it was not bad at all, just the opposite of relaxing.
This went on for at least 3 hours. Thing is that I haven't had any tyoe of inner discussions or thoughts coming up, I was just observing everything that was happening and was really enjoying this quite heavy experience. It would have been impossible to relax and just try to meditate. I think a higher dose will even increase the experience so I don't see how this insightfullness everybody talks about when tripping on shrooms will be possible to appear. I am really into music and it seems that music + shrooms are the main energy source in my case. What do you think??

i dunno how the timing of all this went exactly, if there was 7 days between each trip, but you might have been bitten extra hard on trip 3 for doing them so close together.

i cant do shrooms without music. its absolutely essential for lift-off

There was 1 week between the first 2 and two weeks till the 3rd. So there was no tolerance left doing the 3rd. Yeah, it could be that the second one was lower due to rest tolerance and then the 3rd was higher than expected … I didn’t think about that!!!  Important to care about all the details!!!

my thinking was more along the lines of this: frequent dosing with 1 or 2 weeks apart is "enough" on paper but making a sustained habit of doing it that often can be a burden on the system and then sometimes the shroom has to put you under its boot for a little bit and remind you who's really in charge.

Ah, ok!! Thanks for the advice, yeah I fell a little strained today but quite well. The trip really left an impression, I keep thinking about it the whole time.
Don’t want to keep with this rythm anyways, but you know now, it is summer, less work and more free days to expand your mind  :grin:
