 What's everyone's favorate music to listen to???

While tripping? I haven't listened to any yet. I just want
some opinions, I've seen alot of talk about pink floyyd on
here (not one of my favorate musicians.) I am really into
classic rock and when I get stoned I listen to the beatles.
mainly "Lucy in the sky", "Across the universe(try it)",
and "a day in the life". Also "The End" -the doors Imagine
"John Lennon" and alot more that would take to long to
post. Those are just my favorates..oh shit I forgot
stairway to heaven.
Anyways what music do you guys like to listen to while on
drugs and what do you hate? I can't stand heavy metal or
rap. Give me your opinions.

Godspeed you Black Emporer- they play some intense instumentals
basically anything packed with emotions, but without lyrics- i dont like foriegn thoughts coming into my head while tripping, they can get stuck there.

When I was really stoned last weekend I found a Fleetwood Mac album in my fathers cd collection(graetest hits). I never heard this album before, but is was awesome, going to give it a try next time when tripping :)

You really can't beat the beatles...they were, and still are, one step ahead. John lennon's Imagine album is pretty good...I would avoid Plastic Ono Band for tripping though...it's a great album, really powerful..but it's really negative and harsh. If you like John Lennon then you should really listen to some George Harrison..get the album "All Things Must Pass", i think you would like it.
A lot of people like to listen to Tool while tripping..personally, it's too negative for me. They are a great band and great to listen to while sober though. I prefer a more positive sound. Bob Dylan is good..maybe not too positive all the time but it's still great. Even some pop(ish) music is good...The Optimist LP by Turin Breaks is pretty good. Also Air's first album Moon Safari is an excellent album to listen to while tripping. The grateful dead, of course...i reccomend Live Dead or American Beauty...stuff like that.

99% of good music is good tripping.the 1% is probly
some shit american group. which when you hear it while tripping,you think why the fuck did i like that.

Lately I have been listening to Indian music, particularly played on the flute. It is supreme joy and I love it when I am tripping. I really believe that if you listen to the right raga while tripping there is no way you will get any bad vibes. I probably sound like a stereotypical hippie, but I promise I am not.
Anyway if you are curious check out any recordings by Hariprasad Chaurasia.

It's all about Pink Floyd, their music seems so deep and ingenious when you're fucked up, and it is when you're not too. I love their style, they use lyrics minimally, but when they do, they're fuckin awesome. I also like Prodigy, Crystal Method, and Chemical Brothers.

DUDDEE!! thats trippy shit before I saw this post I replied in your other post(I think it was yours the lyric one) I posted the same 3 beatles songs. A DAY IN THE LIFE ...thats what its called
I would pretty much say the songs I posted in the other thread fit here to.. but when I tripp it really depends on my mood.. if Im mellow then the music we were talking. but if im on psycho mode punk ,metal and anything chaotic RuLz!!
LIVE REGGAE IS THE SHIT WHEN TRIPPING.. (sounds kinda gross) but it felt like the whole band and crowd where making cosmic love and having full mind body soul orgasms.
but nothing beats friends mellow lights and musical insturments( especially electric guitar with effects pedal and amp on low volume) it feels like the music comes straigt out of u when u lose self consiosness and let the music take u
