Megadeth is actually quite amazing to listen to while tripping.. just make sure you dont listen to the new album :P Rust in Peace is probably the best album I have ever tripped to (on acid) As well as the best album to listen to while sober.

When I trip I like to listen to fast breakbeat based music like Happy Hardcore, Jungle/DnB. Or, if im in the mood and am having a good trip, ill listen to Dutch Hardcore/Gabber. If you have tripped without listening to Dutch Hardcore/Gabber, you have no idea what you are missing!!!! Go To: www.hardcore-emotions.nu/djmixes.htm and listen to any of the "Core Output" mixes. Let me warn you though, it could bring some nasty ass visuals and mindgames!!!

For all you DeadHeads like me i have some recomendations. I'm new to this site by the way but it definitely rocks. Anyways, Jazz is Dead is fantastic... Jimmy Herring on lead guitar, possibly best guitarist ever... Phil Lesh and Friends is utterly amazing... tightest group of musicians on the earth today... Warren from gov't mule, keyboard guy from stringcheese, jimmy herring, molo on drums, phil (obviously)... super super sweet.... also string cheese incident kicks ass... dr. didg is another sweet trippin band... also, has anyone ever heard of Mecca Bodega from NYC... i had a religious experience at a festival to those guys... the four hit of the strongest acid ive ever had didn't hurt either Never forget, for day tripping, sunglasses are a must (preferably with cool colored lenses)
