goa... music like sphongle, infected mushroom etc. I normally like drum 'n' bass more, but that most of the times is just too chaotic and abstract for tripping

IF ANY?? mush without music is like, a doob without fire, nothin. I've started liking Marcy Playground when im high, awsome shit man!, there first album (self titled) was written largely under the influence of opium. Music to make you feel good! The best song of thiers is opium, then there is poppies and the devils song. but all thier songs are the shit!
-------------------- Go through the orange yesterday I watched intently for a while to both sides, infront of me and behind me. I was impressed to learn there was another way to look... UP! More impressive still was the fact that there were beautiful stars in this direction Most amazing fact of all was the prospect of another direction when I was done with up. DOWN! Which, based on the feel through my toes would be a fine sandy beach!

Late 60's-early 70's psychedelia. Oh, and once or twice i've tripped to Red Hot Chilli Peppers "Californication", but other than that I don't go past '72 or so.

Most of my friends who consume mushrooms are old acid heads, and their tastes are different than mine. They like the older, heavier, rock-based. music. Now me, I prefer the mellower ambient sounds.... check out: Shpongle The Orb Dead Can Dance Mouse On Mars The Art of Noise

I've listened to a lot tripping, but my faves: Floyd Zeppelin Hendrix (pure gold) Beatles (sometimes) The New Deal (just tried them on the last trip--good stuff) And pretty much any classic rock ... My absolute favorite trip music EVER is Ummagumma ... I've never tripped harder than on the second cd of that set ... mmm ... with 3 1/2 hits of acid it is QUITE tasty ...

Someone else needs to listen to R?yksopp, and tell me what you thought. Far as I'm concerned, there's nothing better. Norwegian masterpiece.

Last night I tried 5-MeO-DMT for the first time, twice... I chose the music carefully. The first time I was listening to digitallyimported.com's hard house shoutcast, I don't know what artist it was but it was great to have the world dissolve to the beat. The second trip I put on a live Dead show, starting on the song Sugar Magnolia, which lasted through the entire OOB flash. Both musical choices were definitely good!

Well, I haven't tripped on shrooms yet, but when I'm high I like to listen to stuff like The Specials and The Damned. But sometimes I'll put on skate music and turn up bass. Could be a whole diff. experience on shrooms though, lookin forward to tryin it.

it depends on the trip, I usually put in background music like classical or contemporary composers(zimmer, goldsmith) if I'm concentrating on something, if I'm thinking about the music I listen to stuff with more substance but provoking-god speed you black emporer, sugor ros, radiohead, the composer's Phillip Glass and John Cage, town and country, rachel's, mogwai, or anything by Clint Mansell- roy

Being a person who loves music more than anything, a musician, a song writer. I would love to tell you that pink floyd, grateful dead, phish is the best to listed too. That fact is that it is my favriote music to listen too sober. While with marijuana you might prefer different music than you enjoy sober, i think that instincts kick in more with a mushroom experiance. This means you would probably prefer listening to what you prefer to listen to sober. Techno and trance fans tell you to listen to trance and floyd fans will tell you to listen to floyd. However, it might be a good idea, to listen to mellow music unless you are experianced with psychedelics enough to control your emotions without letting your senses get to you.
