I saw one Jimi Hendrix.Whats up with that.Thats what Hendrixs music was all about capturing that psychadelic experience.Ive never tripped but If I do Im gonna put it the best of Jimi Hendrix and get relaxed.Songs I think would be awesome from Hendrix while trippin would be Castles Made Of Sand (no doubt cause that song just sounds trippy),All along the watchtower,Bold as love,Voodoo Chilld (slight return),Angel.I could go on and on but I dont wanna bore everyone with my fascination with hendrix music. Voodoo Child, you should be fascinated with Jimi Hendrix. There's no one else like him.He brought a whole new guitar style to rock and roll. He's even better when you're tripping. I guess my list of songs sorta shows my age,but it's what I've always enjoyed listening too while psychedelidally inclined.I'm gonna give some of ya'll's music a try sometime.Check out these tunes if you haven't; These are all complete albums I'm talking about, not individual songs. 1- Eat A Peach - Allman Brothers 2- Moonflower - Santana 3- We Sold Our Souls For Rock and Roll - Black Sabbath 4 - Kind of Blue - Miles Davis 5 - With a Little Help From our Friends-Gov't Mule (live) There's plenty more.I enjoy bluegrass also when I'm in a psych. state of mind. doo
No matter how hard you try, you can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit.

Has anyone else here listened to Orb's new "Auntie Aubrey's Excursions Beyond the Calls of Duty Vol. 2" yet? It's a pretty neat-o cd, as well as Vol. 1. I don't like them as much sober, but they're the craziest cd's I've heard while tripping. It's mostly mellow ambient music, they kinda just fumble along, just short of producing something that makes sense, and then suddenly they float into some crazy tribal beat or moments a perfectly synchronized noise plethora. I love most of the bands mentioned above, and have actually listened to quite a few of those albums tripping, but these two Orb cd's are a more enjoyable experience while tripping. Other than that: Jimmy Van M - Bedrock (Progressive House) Phish - The White Tape (Phish's first promo album. Crazy. Available through phish.com only...unless your cd store makes orders through Phish's catalog.) The Ghost in the Shell - Soundtrack (I'd only suggest it if your trip was taking on a spiritual, or overly Oriental form.) Medeski Martin and Wood - Last Chance to Dance Trance...(perhaps) (Their greatest hits, and probably the best cd...EVER. And don't even think about arguing with me on this one, you little shits.)
