Hi All - apologies for the long time away - it’s been a bit of a wild ride for me but I’m still clinging to this rock that we’re all on. I will be focusing on getting the winners prize pack and the participant prize packs out for those who have requested them.

If you participated in Cake Wars and sent me your privnote address and preferences, I have received your info already.

If you were a participant and want a participant’s prize pack & have not contacted me, please send me a PM with a privnote link to your address **exactly** as it should be on a mailing label from the United States. Let me know if you want spore prints and also whether you prefer a commemorative cork coaster or dog tag.

Originally I wasnt going to "officially" enter any Cake War because I felt I'd be just snatching the first prize away from new growers that are competing, that it wouldnt be fair due to my experience, but I must say after seeing METALPRO's cake I realize growers are catching up and I must humble myself :lol:



I will definitely be making cakes next week and will be posting in the CW3 thread, and if I see stiff competition arising I might even strap on my boots and enlist :popcorn:

One last Cake Wars II pic from some of my slow to germinate cakes, this one was fruited on new 3D printed cake stands.  I chose a delicately tapered, mid-century modern leg design with lots of opening on the bottom, maybe too much as the fruits grew into the water bath. I think they are rather elegant and compliment the decor of any water bath.
