PESA/Amazon; inoculated 4/22/26, ms

After the glamour shot, I snipped off the large cap that was dropping spores to start printing & left the stipe attached to the cake - it will be fine like that until harvest in a couple of days.

I’m planning to print all that I am able, probably 5 or 6 times each for 12h at a time. Worked well for me last time - will see how it goes.

This is how I do spore prints, when I have just a few at a time. I wrote the journal entry specifically for small caps like TTBVI, but it is the same process I use for all printing these days, except that for classic cubes, I only let ‘em print for 12h at a time. Works great!

Here is how I do it when I have a lot of caps to print all at once.

I am fine with my earliest work, they got a rather big attention from way back. I released them under the name "The Psilocybin Library", almost 15 years back..more like 20 now..
Everybody knows them..

I’m on this train as well I’m fact following the tek’s 100% was never my thing and I’ve only followed a tek 100% once and that was with a pf tek in sgfc before I knew anything about water tubs and my results wer sub par. Doing my own thing has lead me more then following the tek to a “T” has so far.

Yeah, I think we tend to pick up or stumble into little tweaks that work for us (and also that don’t work) as we go.

From my perspective, the key value in having someone follow an established tek 100% to the letter is to help them get through the first one or two grows successfully, so that they don’t get frustrated and go find something else to do instead….for myself, I want folks to make growing mushroom medicine a way of life, for life! :smile:

It also makes it much easier and systematic for others trying to help when things go sideways with a new grower’s grow.

Shii if I wanted to just follow a tek or recipe I wouldn't have made it to pf tek I been done had successful grows years ago. I'm here to experiment. Lol me doiñg a pf tek exactly to recipe is a experiment to me as my rh is different than yours. Same for temps. Same for airflow. Sorry just u guys n ur ratings makes me want to go peak on some drugs n act like slim shady for y'all lol 😂 opinions everyone has 1 lol you don't see me asking all the strangers around what they think of me :0 i don't need all dat n couldn't care less for all that lol /dabs (pf tek I think is somewhere along the 14th tek I learned about lol well. Anyways attempting to learn your methods as respect to you guys dedication though lwk I got my own working methods to obtaining more mushrooms than needed this isn't me learning the basics it's adding another tool to my belt. Judge n rate how u will itl just cause less information to show up overtime assuming ppl ain't grown outside of the shroomery is weird 😂 reminds me of the person who said I was brainwashed by reddit B's for growing when I ain't evin been on reddit. Lol
