What... I'm sure people have driven on all kinds of substances legal and illegal and made it safely but it's always reckless and idiotic. I can't take anything you say seriously now.

Are you bragging or do you consider yourself and everyone else on the road fortunate that you didn’t cause an injury or worse?

this should get you started:

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/377361739_Microdosing_psychedelics_and_the_risk_of_cardiac_fibrosis_and_valvulopathy_Comparison_to_known_cardiotoxins#:~:text=of%20microdosing%20over%20extended%20periods,chronic%20use%20of%20serotonergic%20psychedelics

You probably should have read the conclusion at the bottom of that researchgate link before making blanket statements like you have been.

Quote:
It is important to differentiate the potential risk associated with prolonged and repeated microdosing from the very limited physiological safety risk posed by a few “macrodoses” given weeks or months apart for psychedelic-assisted therapy. That said, given the lack of clinical trial evidence showing any clear benefit for microdosing, and the concerning theoretical safety risk of VHD, it is worth proceeding with caution and, at the very least, taking some weeks off between 4-week microdosing intervals. I would also encourage long-term microdosing researchers and microdosing survey app developers to begin collecting routine echocardiography results to systematically evaluate the risk of VHD.

The study is specifically talking about microdosing, because the concern is from longterm constant stimulation of the 5HT2 receptors. This automatically makes the occasional macrodose much less of a concern, and anyone who's done adequate research on microdosing will tell you to take breaks between dosing periods. Please put down the strawman before coming back to this topic.

Edit: Treefrog sums it up pretty well here

I want to make malt extract agar. Should I buy my extract from some dedicated brewing supply store or is grocery store malt extract meant for home beer just fine?

Run-of-the-mill brewing malt should work fine. I got this bag off of the 'zon and everything seems to like it so far.

Thanks for that link but he has no long term studies proving that claim.

They're citing the same paper that you posted, even linking to it at the bottom. Again, take a step back and have a breather before continuing this conversation.

First time spawning a monotub. I think my coco our was field ready could get some water out of it when squeezing tight. Mixed the grain spawn in and sealed the monotub with plugs about an hour ago for colonization and temp is 72% f but the humidity is 99%. Is that too much or cause for alarm? Should I do anything

I ordered a similar light malt extract, the brf I've been using might be too coarse or something because it likes to clump up and it makes it harder to tell which bit of mycelium is growing well due to genetics and which bit just found more food (or indeed which white clump is myc and which is brf ). Also I was too lazy to go buy food coloring so it's impossible to see what's happening anyway so I thought fuck it new recipe time :foreheadslap:

At least they look clean, none of my plates show obvious contamination so I did something right.

So I made some LC and put some agar in. Went to get the mixer and realized I forgot the stir bar. What’s the move here? Just hand swirl it? Can I put it in my SAB and iso a swirl bar in it and drop it in? I don’t know what to do here.

Listen to the Beef. All of my problems with pseudomonas contamination causing blotch and aborts vanished all but completely when I stopped choking off my tubs.

Was a little late to harvest some ochra. I suspect this isn’t good, but want to confirm.

Two different fruit bodies. Looks waterlogged/wet rot?
