Been trying to be a dad for a year.  There's complications, and hard times complicate complications, but we haven't given up.

I really want to take my own little booger mushroom hunting with me.

All I can say is dont give up. And  If you've been  trying for a year or longer i reccomend you guys definitely see a fertility specialist..

When we saw our specialist we got the worst news you could possibly ever get pretty much.

with IVF are chances were less than 5%.

And pretty much impossible without it.

With doner eggs and  IVF 2 years later its happening for us.

Hardest 3 years of trying ever.

I'm an extremely optimistic person and I have to stay very positive for my wife the entire time. But towards the end there even  I was starting to feel like it was impossible and losing my hope.

So after going through that and hearing many other stories that are similar. I know  it's possible even others say it's not. And you just got to stick through it even when you feel like you can't..

We were going to try for as many embryos as we got out of the donor eggs.

Which would have been two more if this one didn't work out. And  from there we would have started looking into adoption.

It must be tough, not going to lie.

I just look at a women and she falls pregnant, when my then wife was pregnant with our first son I new he was a boy.

My second son was a condom rip or it just somehow used diffused osmosis to get through..

I got one of each, I'm sure it will change with age, but right now, girls is easier man. When she has a hard time she cries and needs cuddles, when she is afraid all she wants is dad, she is calm and really creative making me all kinds of cool stuff, she sits on the toilet.

Now my son is another story :uhoh:

When he has a hard time he has the tantrums from hell, throwing shit around, screams like a Nazgûl and says he is going to break my tv. When he is afraid he laughs like a mental patient, he plays loud and his creativity is, literally on the walls, ohh and yeah, guess who is cleaning the toilet every fucking day right now, this guy :crankey:

I love them equally, but dude, this little minime is going to be the death of me, so Cron, you got my deepest sympathy :rofl:

It's really dependent on the child, my sons are very chilled and easy going, my close friend has a daughter and a son and he says his girl is an emo bitch.

He loves her but damn she's a little drama queen, emphasis on queen.

I'm sure your right, and as they grow older the roles will change, mine are 7 and 5 at the moment, I can see some queen traits cooking :uhoh: :rofl:

It's all good though, they're great kids really, I do feel like a house maid at times though.
