Looks like Blobs. Which is Common from PE especially first flush. The metabolites also give it a wet bubble kind of look. But the odds are it's not that.

Maybe somebody else will chime in and give you more of a definitive answer.

If it is just blobs, they're active. Harvest them and dehydrate them as usual. MAYBE the next flush IF another comes in, will be fruits.

Lol lotkid beat me to it.  :super:

My current method of long term storage is syringes full of mycelium I scrapped off a plate. Was gonna go cryo vile method but I feel like this is simpler for me.

Anyone have any reason why I should not do this and use cryo vials? Storing them in a tub in drawer in a corner. Temps very stable.

If what you're doing is working then why change it unless it's for a definitely good reason?

Just make sure to test things every once in a while to make sure your methods are working

Any disadvantage to using Josex' pokes for A2A transfers aside from possibly slower growth? They're so much faster than cutting wedges that I'm tempted to try it for cleaning up the APE spores I got recently.

Nope. No real disadvantage I can think of. Scalpel, tweezers or Josex poke all get the sample to the dish. I like taking small samples, especially when cleaning up cultures.

I don't see anything too worrisome. Harvest your blobs, make tea or dry em. Let things keep fruiting. See what happens. Harvest any more blobs and hopfully you get some regular fruits before it's time to chuck it

Huh, thanks!  So.. how do you know when to harvest a blob?  Do you just pull 'em when you see them?

While I'm asking questions, I have this tub going too, it also started colonizing ~8-10 days ago. The darker bit running down the center in the photo doesn't look nearly as pronounced in person, though it's there (seems to be a bit more moisture), but no untoward colors, and surface conditions look mostly good (very small beads on all the myc).

Anything look untoward here?

You could go for  the "marshmallow"soft when you feel them . Or  Look and see if any of them are starting to bruise.

However if it were me.

I'd be pulling them  a little sooner than later in hopes for a better second flush. So when you start to feel them softening up  a bit and they look like they've grown to what ever you consider a decent size  and wanna keep.

If there's too much light falling on your tub, you might dry out the tub. But no, I don't think you're gonna hurt your mushrooms with light.

I say pull while theyre still firm. If you notice some starting to get a little soft then just pull em all. I don't like to let PE fruits go until they get soft either.

How long should I wait for Ochraceocentrata to germinate on BRF Pucks?
Did 2:1:1 recipe, made brf from wbr in coffee grinder, 10min vent + 120min on Instant Pot, dropped spore from print with a scalpel.

Have 4 agar cups 3-4 weeks old with no visible germination.

Made 3 BRF Pucks 1 week ago with no visible germination either.

Today I made 2 new agar spore plates using a different spore print, since I ran out of half pint jars to make more brf pucks for now.
