For me this hobby is all about finding out. Sure if your goal is just to grow mushrooms you can follow teks and write ups here to a T. I like to try, fail, and learn! Don't get me wrong when it comes to basic shit like being sterile with your work there is no wiggle room for me, but spawn ratio, substrates, recipes for agar and LI, would I or wouldn't I send it, I say live and learn!

This is probably a low grade stainless.

Edit - lazy man’s research via Grok -  In a galvanic couple, aluminum will corrode preferentially to protect the stainless steel.
