Shoot well I made an executive decision and decided to just pour it a little hot at 130 or so. I’ll let it cool stacked in one stack overnight. Hopefully the hot garage it’s in will cool it down slow enough to not have too much condensation.

Cant really see it well but that is a thing yes

Here’s a better contrast, clean and likely contam, pulled from different starter plates. Just curious if that haze is a known contam or something weird like condensation on the surface of the agar spreading the myc idk. Thanks for the feedback!

So I had an "all-in-one" bag and began to fruit my mushrooms. The growth was pretty large and cumbersome so I just cut the bag away and fruited them in a plastic bin with a few inches of wet perlite in the bottom holes for FAE and fanned it twice a day (modified monotub). Just had a very good harvest and am dunking my colonized mycelium 'brick' overnight. For my next flush, Should I turn it over and fruit the other flat colonized side of the brick or just fruit the same face that I just harvested from? Does it even make a difference?

No difference. It will fruit where conditions are best

Around how many quarts of CVG do you get with this recipe?

650g coco coir brick
2 quarts vermiculite
1 cup gypsum
4.5 quarts water

If there's a leak, I would abandon it. Especially after you replaced the gasket and it still does it. Don't want that thing going off.

oh you..

mines been leaking since like 2018...

i dont know but these "recipes" have ruined more tubs of mine than anything.

every brick weighs out different.
vermiculite is worthless unless you accidentally add too much water and need to add it.
gypsum is completely unneccesary.

brick weight x 4.25-4.4 = water weight in ml.

i been beating the drum for years but it doesnt matter what temp you pour at if you dont burn your hands.  if u store plates vertical, the condensation goes away in a few days.
