Blue velvet was made for people like us. It’s just that right vein of weird and it had me hooked. The main bad guy is one of the most interesting characters in any movie.

it got this big trichey spot but i could see it was pinning so...

i quarantine it.  took a knife and cut out the trich.  i left it on the table by the window in my living room and forgot about it again.  i was having a nightcap last night and remembered it and peaked in there.  of course, the trich is trying to crawl back out of the crater that i made so, as im about half drunk on green wine, i take a butane torch and i burn all the trichey lookin spots. actually it smelled kinda nice hahhahah . like matches.

Yeah, my dad basically told me about that sort of world and instilled such utter paranoia from his time in the 1960's that I always stayed super small potatoes. Crazy new world we live in, that's for sure. I think it took my dad a while to wrap his head around the idea that I'm not just perpetually on the verge of getting locked up. His stories from the olden days make even our paltry civil liberties sound pretty damn good.

Generally speaking cops don’t give a fuck about mushrooms.  As long as you don’t sell anything to a cop they can’t come into your house period. Plus They’ve got opioids to deal with.

It’s the shit out of my control that I worry about. Like you said, the coke head dui getting friend of a friend that accidentally brags about the neighbor that he gets boomers from.

As we all know, nobody’s getting rich off what we do. Lol! I will trade and barter all day long though! Got my kids Nintendo switches for a nice trade!

Half the average beat cops in my city would probably love to get ahold of something that gets you high but doesn't show up on urine screens. But, like I said, I don't hang out with alcoholic cokeheads lol

Assuming we're just talking about the US, remember that the US has one of the most decentralized police forces in the world. We're talking about jurisdictions that go back to before the civil war and/or revolutionary war. City and County police alongside Sheriff's Deputies.

And then, even within a department, you got all the little divisions. Jump-out squads, community liaisons, traffic enforcement l, parking enforcement, etc.

If you're working-class, don't have a record, and maybe did a little stint in the military, you can probably get a job somewhere as a cop.

So I'd say everything and nothing is true. The city cops could give two shits about your boy moving kilos of weed, while a State Trooper sits 20 miles away ready to throw him in jail over a joint and make his quota. And a Sheriff's deputy is at the next exit down, just fishing for a civil asset forfeiture. While, two states over, a jump-out squad lights up a schoolteacher at a traffic light.

And it can be truly confusing which way things will end up. A southern cop in a draconian weed state might toss your bag on the side of the road to keep you out of jail, while a northern cop in a decriminalized state might write you a ticket to fuck with you/make quota.

At any rate, mushrooms are truly a "roll the dice and see" type scenario. But I'd rather just avoid the roll altogether, of course.
