God is a metaphor for authoritarian patriarchal values. Oppression. Control.

He is a mascot for the idea that people do not own ourselves.

The Devil is a term that is used by slaves of religion. They use it to describe all the things they fear.

Love, expression, growth, learning, respect, unity, humility.

These are the things they cannot survive.

The Devil carries these things with her, but she is not these things.

She is not a mascot. Not a metaphor.

She walks along the valley of psychosis. A place where many become lost, and entangled.

If you are lost there, and your heart is right. Clean. True.

She may take your hand.

She took my hand and led me to the edge of the valley.

Then comes the part where you must let go.
If you cannot let go of her hand, you cannot exit the valley of psychosis.

She still wanders there, I don't pretend to understand why.

I only know that I am thankful.

That valley, lies between all points. It's a place of fluid geography.

A landscape within, and without.

Knowing she is there brings me great peace.

I am thankful to the Devil.

I respect the Devil.

I am a friend of the Devil.

The thing is both enacted and imaginative, but this isn't always game-like in consequence. For example, have you seen a game? Or is there just the abstraction of it? Conclusions aren't really necessary and 'it's a game' is painfully conclusive, likely to completely stop progress in experience of life.

I would say it's contained because I can contain my abstracting to where I am and when I am, and this seems like a wholesome experience of what it is.
