bohemian grove

any thoughts?  I just watched an Alex Jones movie where he snuck into one of their ceremonies and I have friends that worked there and saw the list of people that attend the service.  I don't believe everything I read or see, but this was pretty convincing along with what my friends who live there told me.

I never understood what the big deal was.  A bunch of movers and shakers have a fun little getaway in the woods that includes a pagan-esque ritual involving the club's mascot.  Does everyone have a problem with paganism?  I mean, I know Alex Jones does because a right-wing Christian whacko, but why should those of us who respect freedom of religion care?

Ok, so it's got a bunch of rich and powerful people there.  So what?  There's lots of places that the rich and powerful meet:  country clubs, international economic forums, fundraising events, etc.  In a sense, it's conspiratorial any time they meet to discuss business, so why make a big deal out of it.  The Grove's motto is "Weaving Spiders Come Not Here."  In other words, keep your business outside of the club.  Ruling the world is what these people have to worry about the rest of their time.  It seems to me like a frat that allows them to let loose outside of the public's eye.  I imagine that such a release would be welcome for such high-profile people.

I think it's a little more than that.  I don't think what Alex Jones says is all true, but I do believe there's some shady shit going on.  Take the Hellfire Club for example.  Ben Franklin, the royal family, they all participated in human sacrifice and some fucked up shit.  Now, the freemasons of the world all gather at bohemian grove and perform a 'fake' sacrifice?

There was no actual human sacrifice.  Again, they were up to a bunch of frat-boy antics.

Bohemian Grove has no official connection to the freemasons, although I'm sure a few people happen to be members of both.  The fake sacrifice is the burning of an effigy of care, representing essentially what the club is about:  letting go of your cares about the outside world and just relaxing and having fun away from the public eye.

The problem with Bohemian Grove is that they're making policy decisions for our country without any public oversight.  They're basically bypassing democratic processes that we set up in our government for decision making.  Also, they're doing rituals which may or may not be real, but there's an inner circle that are die hard believers in some fucked up shit.  Maybe not everyone knows what they are witnessing or participating in, but the ones running the show do.  And they traced their rituals back to Babalon and Egypt.  They are full fledged believers who are completely fanatic about it, and that's wrong because fanaticism is fucked up whether it's Christian, Islam, Satanism, Hindu etc.  Extremism is fucked.

That may or may not be true.  You have no evidence for it.  But even if it was true, it would hardly make Bohemian Grove unique.

And you know this how?  Alex Jones claims the owl represents the Babylonian god Moloch, but in actually, all historical records show Moloch was represented by a bull, not an owl.  The owl is simply the club's mascot.  Jones(like you) was just making shit up.  The cremation of care ritual does not date back to ancient Babylon.  It dates back to 1893, when it was designed as a sort of catharsis to get people to let go of their cares about the outside world.

Bohemian Grove is where they decided Reagan was going to be president, the Governador was going to governor, it's where they came up with the idea for the manhattan project.  Obama went there this year with Bush and McCain.

I didn't know Alex Jones was a right wing Christian.

Also I don't know what they are doing there but my friend was obsessed with this place. We lived like an hour from it and he was trying to bribe me to drive him there for a few blunts. I didn't care that much to take him but anyways I think it is more than a party when I see the video of their ceremony and all the robes and chantings and shit.
