I started taking mushrooms at the end of last year and found that they helped my mental state even at low macro doses, but the effects lasted at least 2-3 weeks so I didn't need them every week. I don't want to take them at home so I have to go somewhere, making the occasions even more rare.

I also got into meditation and several months down the line the effects are so significant that I don't really feel like I need the benefits of mushrooms, but I still enjoy them occasionally. At the rate I'm going a single shoebox's worth will last me like 2 years. My lifetime use in almost a year has been less than an ounce, maybe no more than 1/2 oz.

I'm only still growing because I want to improve my skills and try out different varieties to see if I find something that I like a lot more than the others.

still in the process of growing but if it goes well i should have several ozs/close to a lb dried. In the past i grew about a lb and ended up giving it all to a friend who has since moved away

Put as many as you can fit in the bottom of a shoebox and then top them with a couple of inches of compacted coir. They’ll fruit normally and you don’t have to risk contamination.

How do you mean?    It's already spawn and substrate together since it's an all in one bag. So are you saying just break it all up into a tub and cross my fingers? Or I need to break it up into a tub and add some more substrate?  Am I a fool for even trying at this point? Or should I toss it and just spend my time learning the pf tek  before anything.i mean at this point it's all experimental.

My jars of brown rice smell kinda weird after I opened the pressure cooker. I boiled them for 9 min cooled it down and put it in the jars yesterday afternoon and didn't get to pressure cook it until today at noon. So it was sitting at room temp for almost 24 hrs.

I've never used a PC before and I don't know what it "should" smell like. Almost smelled kinda like Brussel sprouts or something. It was kinda sour smelling.

Should I toss it and redo or does that sound normal?
