hi ,I was wondering if anyone had ever bought dried peruvian torch cactus from Mezkalynn.com, they sell it real cheap, like $15 an oz., but something about the site seems shady. if some one who ordered from their could get back to me and tell me if they are reliable and if the product is good quality it would really mean alot to me. thanx. peace.

Well if it is actually from the Andes it could be some good stuff. The growing conditions create more mescaline. I got some from an MSN group and it was very strong.

IMO if it aint from a shroomery vendor dont bother. So you know for sure you can trust who ever you are ordering from.

that's bs man, there are plenty good vendors that aren't shroomery sponsors! that's why he's asking, just to make sure

I was just putting out my opinion on what I thought about buying from vendors online. The shroomery vendors I would trust alot more than some random site.

I ordered from him once. The product was on the level once it finally got to me. He took forever to return my emails and did not offer to refund my money for express shipping when he didn't even send my order until it was a month late.
That said, I did get my order and it was a good product.

thanks ekstaza, after hearing that I probably wont order from them, since I'm very impatient with such things, but how good is their cactus compared to others, the first and only time I ordered this cactus I got it from riverssource, it was 25 g for $24 + s/h. I got the order really quick and it was enough for a very light but satisfying 8 hour trip, but other than that I really have nothing to compare and tell if I'm getting a good deal or not. if anyone has suggestions of where I should order from next time it would be much appreciated.

extracting seems like it would be too involved, and I have no equipment, I just crushed the dry material up and put it in vegi caps, hell of alot of pills to swallow though.

Try this. It works great.
This is what I have done and it really worked great.
Starting with 100 grams dry cactus flesh, grind into a powder(the finer the better) and soak the powder in 190 proof grain alcohol(I like grain alcohol because it's not toxic and I don't have to make sure it's all evaporated) for a week or so, shaking it up once a day or so. Drain off the alcohol and resoak the mark to make sure that you get all of the goodies. You can resoak as many times as you want but I believe that soaking twice is usually sufficient. Mix your two alcohol solutions and evaporate slowly until you have a thick dark syrup. This should be enough for two good doses. Mine turned out to be a little more than two teaspoons full.
It is very bitter, but with a glass of water for a chaser it will be easy to get it down. Just try to swallow it as soon as it gets into your mouth and then quickly wash it down with the water. I have experienced no nausia and no stomach discomfort with this method.

sounds good to me. I was wondering though, does the alcohol destroy any of the mescaline, and also is it possible to evaporate the syrup enough so it can still be scraped into gel capsules. cause the taste of the cactus itself is pretty nasty so I can only imagine how bad the extract tastes.

The taste is horrendous but like I said,it only takes a second to swallow it and then a glass of water will wash away the taste. I've used this method many times and I have never been disappointed.

Nonsense. It's great for persons like myself who refuse to cut or maim their own sacred plants just for a stone.

Yeah, it's expensive. I agree. I wish the stuff had started out at a much cheaper rate. Makes a 4+ trip pretty costly.
