By not voting you’re just letting people make decisions for you.
I want some decisions to be made that I believe in. So I vote.

Ranked choice voting would give me more choices in how I vote. Which I think is great. Because more choices are usually going to better. More competition will make these people actually follow through on a lot more of their campaign promises. I think rank choice voting would be the equivalent of not having Netflix be the only streaming service.
Better for everybody except the streaming service.

California has gotten rid of partisan primaries for down ballot races. The primary now selects the top two candidates regardless of party who then run against each other in the general.

Increasing taxes on the wealthy/corporations
Giving tax credits/breaks to the poor/middle class
Funding social security
Funding and expanding medicaid/medicare
Funding education and science
Addressing climate change
Protecting voter access
Protecting reproductive rights
Protecting LGBTQ rights
Protecting union rights

.... who just happen to be Democrats.

Democrats are too hawkish, and anti-democracy. Nowadays they are beyond the pale, prosecuting their opponents, like we're some 3rd world junk "republic", and making moves against our freedom of speech. Democrats are responsible for Americans having the largest prison population in the world (aside from China, by a very small margin).

Where is the lie? Prosecuting political opponents in court is a move straight out of the banana republic handbook. They have literally changed laws in order to prosecute Trump.

Democrats are responsible for the crime bill in the 90's that expanded the prison population. Remember when Clinton called black kids "Super Predators"? The only effort for prison reform in decades was the First Step Act that Donald Trump signed into law.

Democrats are the ones prosecuting people for speech. They just put a kid in prison for saying (in jest) that you could vote for Clinton via text, on twitter. Democrats are the ones defending the right to weaponize the federal government against the speech of it's citizens.

Democrats are anti-democracy. At least in the Republican party it's possible for a grass-roots candidate to win the nomination. That's not so of the Democratic party.

The biggest climate disaster in history was when the Biden administration blew up the Nordstream Pipeline.

These aren't right wing talking points. These things should concern every American.
