It may be the camera but from my eyes that looks extremely wet, if it is super wet allow it to get more fae and evaporate then try to get Ideal surface conditions evaporation will trigger pinning so if its super wet and not evaporating that can be your issue and it can cause bacterial contam if water is pooling on your surface

First grow, is this a veil starting to break?

I’m gunna be heading out of town in 24 hours, and will be gone for 36 hours. I figure they def won’t be ready to harvest before I leave, and keeping my fingers crossed they don’t drop spores before I get back.

I make mine in big batches and store them in test tubes in the fridge. I just pull one when needed. Lasts well over a year for me. Never had one not work after storage.

It'd prolly be ok to do the 12. Are you doing pints or quarts? I need to do some also. I may do 6 to start; that way I'll have 3 in reserve.

K.. I've got a mini fridge I can toss them in if needed

Anyone know if they've got a shelf life at room temps? I'd like to avoid putting stuff in the fridge if possible because I plan on using it to fruit Stuntzii

They're small jars.. half pints, and I'm only going to fill then about half way.. I'm just going to use them for Pf Tek grows.

i checked on these yesterday, there's some yellowishing (too much moisture?) and you can't really see but there's also a little blue in the bag on the left. they were inoculated with a spore syringe i made, i probably put too much in it, plus the bags are in my shed, subject to temperature fluctuations. i broke them up few days ago, everything looked fine.

The yellow is from myc metabolites. A lot of it as well as the condensation in your bags seem to point towards a bacterial infection :sad:

i have 2 questions... 1. what should i do here.. some doubled in size overnight and some of their veils are opening.. they are quite small though..jus under 2 inches in height.. but idk what i'm doing, this is my first grow.. should i still be misting? should i be cutting some down or let them go..?

also i brought syringes a while ago.. (im in agar now and will always be starting from prints etc, in the future)

i know what KSSS Koh Samui super strain, golden boy, avery's, and adrenal volcano are.. and can look them up.

what is 6+, and peb stand for?

i got the guy to send me a mixed pack of his choosing, and he sent another by mistake and i had like 14 syringes.. but i have gone through some now.. and i have more in the fridge..

and as a complete noob is there any i should be growing or avoiding? im saving KSSS for summer maybe..
