Damn, and here I am holding a hot little piece of wire in my bare fingers.

One of these days I'm just gonna make a loop out of a dildo and some wire and be done with it.

So, I don't want to ask dumb questions here, but I was unable to find satisfactory answers searching through old posts:

What length/girth of dildo is optimal for inoculating?

Should the wire attach to the tip or the base?

Has anyone tried a double-ended dildo to increase efficiency?

Is an alcohol wipe-down sufficient for sanitizing, or is a condom recommended for maximum protection?

It took forever to find.
The Korean supermarket didn't have the familiar telephone brand or the bars.
Had to ask 6 different employees before one understood what the hell I was talking about.

Thanks!

Well, nope, that's apparently not pronounced "agar."

And according to wikipedia, the word "agar-agar" comes from the Malay name for red algae. Fascinating.

Bought a 'real' vacuum bagger today.

Kind of excited. I'm so tired of wasting jars for storage, and I usually lose jars when I give any thing away.

Added benefit of using it for my food too!

Nice.

I bought a cheap ass food saver one and it works but man it’s a pain in the ass. Especially if I just want to seal one end.

Vacuum bags seems like a good idea but I and others have had problems In the pass.

When you load the bag with cracker dry shrooms and put the bag in a vacuum the dried shrooms has a way of punching small pin holes in the plastic and your shrooms will go soft.

Even double bags are a problem..

This is exactly what happened to pounds of my mushrooms. Still potent but had to be redried. Sticking to mason jars from now on even if i have to powder it/

This Is the way I store my shrooms. They stay cracker dry for years...

I have three of these pet food containers with a rubber seal on the lid. They each hold a large bag (60 lbs.) of dog food.

I place a jar of Home Dry desiccant in the container.

I put the shrooms in trash bags and leave the top of the bags open.

Desiccant and the containers are from Costco..

You can get the containers on line..

Amazon

This system works just make sure lid is on tight and secure during storage.
