It would be if verifiable. However, subsequent researchers have been unable to duplicate these experiments.

Get a microgram scale, some mice and some choloroform and try it your own experiments.

but let's ask a question here...would it make sense for a soul to have weight it grams?

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Mice are souless, vile little critters that enter my pantry and chew holes in Cap'n Crunch boxes. We should strap the Dali Lama to a bed on top of a scale and smother him with a (pre-weighed) pillow...

Maybe there is no loss of matter. The drop in "weight" could be creditted to a stop of cellular activity that contributed towards some kind of electromagnetic pull towards the earth. I know nothing like this is known, but we can't jump to conclusions that the soul is either :smile:

Maybe it could be as simple as oxygen leaving their lungs / blood when they die.

But I find that either way to conclude the drop in weight is related to the soul leaving the body seems leap a big leap of faith. Not that im convinced in the idea of soul, but it was my understanding that the commonly accepted notion of 'soul' was meant to be over and beyond the physical plane anyway. Wouldnt that mean that it wouldnt have a physical weight??
